Would cohesion increase on special events like some holidays?
Maybe on the creation of holidays, with it giving you a passive boost from then on, unless people forget about it or something I guess.
And the more there are the less of a boost is given?
Yeah, so itβd be in a way that the more holidays you have the less cohesion increase youβll get, and you probably wonβt be able to create new holidays at will or if you could they wouldnβt have nearly the same effect.
Holidays would then for instance interact with the economy?
Donβt forget some holidays are also associated with religious significance.
Didnβt we just talk about holidays being created by/for religions by the player?
A very small one but a real one.
I suppose the player would occasionally get the option to create a holiday, and if it is a religious one, as in the holy asked for it, they would be punished for not establishing it.
Of course they can make a holiday at any point but it would give a MUCH smaller bonus, thus making it not worth, unless they really need to.
The search bar does not pick up anything.
I mean, the whole christmas marketing think does get big at that time of the yearβ¦
I was thinking about how people donβt work during holidays but now that you say it, it probably would have a good bit of impact based on some way to measure significance.
And companies and stuff could definitely tug at the nature of such holidaysβ¦
Yeah most definitely, assuming they have companies by then.
By then you mean by when? Christmas was modified a long time after it came to beβ¦
βby thenβ was referencing the time period around and of the holiday/ the time that the bonus is affecting the gameplay.
Wouldnβt that period come back every year or whatever unit of time do they have for holidays?
If weβre going to represent time by days (or the equivalent of days) then weβd have a little bonus during the holidays.
If time was to be treated as if sped up/ it jumps every time the player uses the nation editor, then weβll have a very small constant bonus.
I think weβll be getting the former option since otherwise you couldnβt experience your nation when itβs βstableβ.
So those stages are going to be a grand strategy game type of thing? Kinda like paradox games maybe?
Not sure, the concepts are still swirling and changingβ¦
