whenever i place down a Chemoplast, the game doesn’t show it on the ATP production calculation
That’s because chemoplasts produce glucose and not atp itself. Also welcome to the forum!
To add on: If you’re confused about how the chemosynthesizing proteins do show up on the ATP production bar, that’s because those add a (weak, inefficient) conversion of glucose into ATP, in addition to their primary function of turning sulphur into glucose.
Which is caused because all organeles are submerged in cytoplasm which can produce a bit of ATP by itself. Maybe this secondary cytoplasm ATP production should be shown as one with the one coming from pure cytoplasm hexes so that players aren’t confused?
Or should there be a tip added about this in the game, since the ATP amount is shown for each organelle if you hover over the ATP production bar?
At the other hand I think it’s mentioned about the cytoplasm bit in most organelle descriptions…
