Yup. Aurora’s are everywhere… as long as there is stuff to be turned into plasma and the energy to do that that is.

I am not 100% sure, but this picture of polarized light from Sagittarius A* might be considered a Black Hole Aurora…

Are there streaks supposed to be reconstructions of what is believed to be there or are they in the actual photo?

From the article, those streaks are in the actual photo.

Btw aren’t regular galaxies already mostly dark matter?

This galaxy seems to be made of more dark matter than the usual amount.
