What do you guys think future substages will be? (Basically parts of a stage that are functionally different from the other parts of the stage despite technically being apart of the same stage. For example; Eukaryotic vs Prokaryotic microbial gameplay.) Early vs Late Multicellular was scrapped in favor of Multicellular vs Macroscopic so we can rule that one out. Possibly pre-metal vs post-metal Society stage could be another case of ‘substages’.

Space infamously has 2 large substages, one within your solar system and one beyond it

well i was made as a single celled organism, then i invaded another single celled organism and we basically merged and then i turned into a multicellular organism! (yes its sexual reproduction and im the offspring)

Society might have before and after colonizing/exploring new continents. Industrial is just as likely to have before and after computers as it is before and after robots (which are related but different). Or it could have before and after Electricity.
