Three more things:
- How long is a round? (In millions of years)
- My species is Formica-Jovis Primigenus
- It’s mutation is Hydrogenoplast below the main cytoplasm (so if the original is cytoplasm at 0,0 then the Hydrogenoplast is at 0,-1)
Three more things:
We aren’t even sure what organelle set are we working with here…
I’ll change it if the Organelles are different
I wonder if this will just be the regular set or if unique organelles will be created…
In theory, stone age tech could be made, using hard shells as rocks, and whatever plants evolve as trees/wood. Beyond stone age, maybe using asteroids as metal, but that’s very unlikely/unrealistic.
How would you even catch asteroids to begin with?
That’s why It’s unrealistic. But if you could (somehow), you maybe could get metal
At that point it’d probably be more realistic to evolve into a “spacewhale”…
A round is about 100 million years. Also. here is the conversion table of DSL to SiJA:
Cytoplasm = The same
Materiosynthesizers = Metabolosomes
Gluonosynthesizers = Magnetosynthesizers
Neutrino jet = Ciliate “wing”
Z-type bosonosynthesizer = Hydrogenoplast
W-type bosonosynthesizer = Heliumoplast
Are we playing at the regular scale or the quantum scale?
Normal scale. Of course, you are in an atmosphere, a far dryer place than the ocean. So your organism may be adapted to be very water efficient, so they will thrive (see what I did there?). Just a thought if asteroid mining is the way to get metal…
Thanks for clarifying! I’ll change the name of my mutation.
Edit: Also, are the patches the same with different patch names and resource names, or are they different?
They are kind of just different names. W bosons are replaced with helium, Z replaced with hydrogen, and gluons replaced with magnetic energy. And quarks are just glucose and photons are just ATP. The patch names are different. But, moving between them is random chance because atmospheric winds are you primary source of movement.
Also, how much MP/EP do you get a round? It only says 50 for the first round, but there is 5 times as many generations in a round, so is there 250 MP, or is it something else?
There are no subdivisions of rounds, so 100 EP per round is what you get. This is Round 0. So you can spend your EP on another organelle.
Thanks! I’ll add an extra organelle. A Cillia wing/s bellow the Hydrogenplast, at 0,-1
Edit: I just noticed the Energy cost, I’m changing it to three cytoplasm, 1 on each side of the Hydrogenplast, except above, where the original one is
I will evolve a metabolosome at (-1, 0) and a magneto at (1,0). Species name will be given soon.
Also you should probably ping the players who haven’t submitted their votes in DSL to do so there.
I will evolve a Metabolosomes to the right of my Cytoplasm, and a Magnetosynthesizers to the left of my Cytoplasm.
Name: Metis condulus, from Latin meaning “Ring of Metis”, after the main ring of Jupiter created by its innermost moon, Metis.
Also, if possible, I would like to have the organism’s color be dark-gray, similar to the material coming from Metis.
Alright, these are all the organisms!
Hydrogenoplast at 0,-1, Cytoplasm at 0,0
Metabolosome at -1, 0, Magneto at 1,0, Cyto at 0,0
Same as aah, but with a dark color.
I will name my species Nubes Cellula (cloud cell).
