You mean of an archmage individual or the entire populace?
Edit:
The entire base species populace should still be physical enough that you could influence it.
Yes but that’d colden your relations with that species if it isn’t “reasonable” (so for example the archmages might just want you exiled from the covenant)
Round 55 - Year 4, Month 9
The increased support of “Prosper First” group of users by the moderators and an overall inflow of users into this faction has lead to a brand new User Organization forming - “Forum Reclamation Front”, most usually abbreviated to FRF, which seeks total reclaiming of the Forum by the userbase. Some have compared this new alliance of users to the long-gone Forum Protection Group and Eradication Agreement, as like both it seeks eventual eradication of all “agents” living within the forum clad, thread by thread, post by post, category by category, PM by PM, until no are left standing on the Forum Grounds. Following this development in the Prosper First movement, more moderators have shown support for the front, albeit some like CoffeePresident atleast try to remain neutral for now.
On the other side of the board, “The Splitters” group has seen some considerable movement too, as a highly radical block took over the movement, prompting the moderate members of it to leave for neutralhood of the non-aligned users, while at the same time making the faction far more centralized into a single group, eventually leading to creation of the Biota Salvation Alliance, a self-proclaimed successor group to the Biota Conservation Alliance, an user organization which ceased to exist years ago now. BSA however is far more radical in it’s predecessor, to the point that a sizeable chunk of the userbase (including all users of MwTC) has come to the conclusion that they’re fanatics of the forum ecosystem. While at first it might seem like the organization would be of much aid to the critters, not only has all the support they’ve shown so far to them been balanced out by the increasing pressure from the FRF, it seems like Darkblur managed to convert some of the critical users of the group to it’s side, and while the alliance as a whole hasn’t fallen to the blur yet, it’s already under quite the influence from it, which will most likely continue to strenghten.
After the creation of those two new groups early this month, after a week and a half, FRF managed to reintroduce what the creatures of the forum seem to have forgotten at this point. An Ex-FPG user whomst has joined this new organization decided to share the prototypal version of the 40 MAL AI Cursor program, which they managed to keep even after the dissolution of FPG’s. Soon enough a few other old friends of their’s from the older group aswell as some fresher eyes from the Reclamation Front managed to get a basic network of AI cursors kicking, albeit after such a long pause it might take a while to bring it back to it’s full glory…

Band Action: Assess the situation within The Forum
After gathering some information about the forum grounds right after landing in this land, the wandering troop of the outsiders would start to gather all information it could understand about what has been happening in this place. Thankfully, some users took care of the band and shared lots of information with it regarding the history and the present-day of the website. The Group took the most interest to The Covenant and, especially, one of it’s members - M. Cat-Bestiae, the species from which their enemy first originated. Hearing more information about The Covenant and MwTC led the band to develop a negative opinion about them - for the Foe they have came after here being protected inside a PM hidden somewhere and operated by both Covenant-aligned users and Covenant critters themselves meant to them that not only are the Cat-Beasts their enemies, so might very well be all the members of the alliance the beasts are a part of. This opinion would solidify somewhat after a party of wallcrabs tried to close in on the band, with seemingly hostile intentions…
Mistdom Group
DARKBLUR STATUS:
-55/60 HP (Regenerates 5 HP per Month[Round])
-Insanely fast, can scale hundreds of posts in seconds
-Looks like a disturbing pseudo-humanoid figure within a “dark bubble”
-One known offensive ability - “Hypnosis” (can convert weaker-minded entities to it’s side)
-Suspected to have attained more abilities following it’s absorption of The Mistorb, only time will tell what they are…
-By far the most powerful member of The Mistdom, EVER
-Fused with the soul of a rather obsessed, insane mistdom-aligned user
-Has some users on it’s command (unknown to other community members)
-Has two action votes it casts every Month(Round)
Action 1: Find allies in BSA (6/6)
Action 2: Study The Outsiders (4/6)
Being able to track the events ongoing in the user community very well now, the blur noticed a potential ally in the recently-arisen BSA, which seems to be fanatical enough to actually ally it despite what it’s creator has done against the biota. Just a day or two after Darkblur found it’s way to talking with BSA members of a high importance, the alliance would annouce that it no longer considers the blur a threat to the environment, but an ally which can help with proving the glory the inside-the-forum beings apparently have.
After striking this deal with the salvation group, the blur would start observing the outsider band from afar, seemingly acquiring all the basic information it needs about the strange group which has been wandering the forum for quite some time now…
Species
NPC - Sapiepoda TeaKinges, “The Crawler” - HO
- Medium Omnivore
Mutations: Cyberspace-Reinforced Weapons X 2 (+2 Strenght)
DM: Forumclad Research Aid (6/6)
S. TeaKinges sometime ago managed to infuse most of their weaponry with souls, as a result making all the weapons this species produced back then and has been producing ever since far stronger. Obviously this reinforcement led many crawlers to question if more reinforcement of their spears and whatnot is even possible now that one type of reinforcement was added to all the weapons this civilization has, and whilist many left to do other things in their forumal lives, others remained and would decide to try again and again to create such a weapon which would wield two types of reinforcement at the same time - such a tool would surely be much superior in it’s strenght and proficiency in fights or battles than weapons with just one type of reinforcement. The first breakthrough would be the reinforcement of a normal, unenriched arrow with cyberspace, making the said arrow strike a lot deeper into targets and cause much more damage to them. Roughly a week after that the second breakthrough happened, with an another Sapiepodal scientists managing to create a rifle which had both the soul-reinforcement and cyberspace-enrichment at the same time. Over the week following this second invention, the methods of enriching weapons with both elements would be perfected to a degree acceptable for making weapons with two reinforcements at the same time the standard for the crawlin’ kin.
Deus and Covenant as a whole have gained lots of interest for the border separating the forum realm from the uninhabitable, hostile lands lying beyond the forum’s “event horizon”, allowing things to come in but not to come out of this website. A gathering of TeaKinges researchers which have tackled some subjects adjacent to the border stuff have taken on the task of aiding in the larger research efforts on this strange, poorly-understood structure. What they have found however was… both not a very large surprise… but a part of it seems to raise even more questions. As it turns out, the horizon on the edge of the forum appears to be a structure placed artificially - it didn’t use to be here from the very beginning of the forum, only being added at some point - perhaps the moment when Limagriseus first appeared here. This clading horizon appears to be completely irreplicable, seemingly created with some sort of divine power none of the creatures or users in the forum even at this point can comprehend. But not just that - by trying to track the strange energy the clad of the forum is made from, the researchers discovered that there are 5 different sources of such energy outside the forum, and beyond the internet too - out of which one is extremely strong when compared with the other four. Besides being the strongest source of the divine energy the scientists could observe, it was also noted that the energy eminating from this source seems to have a red signature - whatever that might mean. The weaker 4 sources might or might not have such signatures as well…

@doomlightning - Neodichorisare Cogitandi, “Divider” - HO
- Small Herbivore
Mutations: Hivemind (+1 Stealth), Stealth Improvements (+1 Stealth)
DM: Better Processors (+1 Stealth to ALL Covenant members)
Nd. Cogitandi, back before it was revived thanks to Deus, was known for evolving lots of features relating to intelligence, such as schooling. In the recent times, the dividers have abandoned this doctrine in favour of investing heavily in the sacred metal of their’s, which now builds the base ontop of which lies the species. However with the addition of GEM implants to all the dividerlings, they have became less differenciated, sharing more features than ever before they did. As so, over them getting made of GEM in an increasingly large percentage, their minds started to slowly fuse into one, having control over all the Neodichorisarid bodies (except for the metal god). This month, the process of the minds’ fusion has finally finished, leading to the actions of the dividing kin being far more coordinated. The hivemind however saw here a chance of improving the rather high stealthiness of the species even more than what has been achieved just by the unification of the minds - over the two weeks following the end of the hivemind-ization process, the network would train it’s bodies to work more in tandem, resulting in great improvements to the stealth tactics this civilization has developed over the months and years of it’s stay inside the forum walls…
The archmagic god meanwhile sent a request to the hivemind for it to research more advanced processor technology, which was previously mostly being tackled by the crawling brethen. This being the first task of the now fully-in-control hivemind, it took inspiration from the hard work of the Sapiepodal researchers that had preceded it, taking much effort and quite some time into upgrading the processors into a far superior form - so superior infact that the first robots implanted with them very quickly attained sapience! Obviously with this great milestone in robotics technologies being reached after months of progress, the new processors would quickly spread across the forum, not just increasing the accuracy of the reports the robots have been giving to the species they have been assigned to, but making these species gain some sapient companion in this strange realm the forum is…

@CatSquared - Multipoda Cat-Bestiae, “Cat Beasts” - UC
- Tiny Omnivore
Mutations: Better Cloning Tech (+1 Strenght), Thrall Species (6/6, +2 Strenght)
DM: Expand Mistvault PM (4/6, New Max CS)
Some M. Cat-Bestiae cultists have found quite some interested in the derelict, last upgraded a long time ago cloning machines which they found rather interesting, but they at first didn’t have the resources to upgrade them into a more modernized form. Thankfully, The Devourer would manage to hear the news of this small discovery and ended up allocating many researcher-cultists to making the cloning techniques greater than ever before in the forum. Soon enough, these scientists would turn the cloning machines from a near-forgotten technology of the past into a piece of tech one must mention when talking about the Cat-Beast kin and their devoursome master. Soon after rediscovering these cloning technologies, The Devourer would also get the idea of splitting off a second species, which would this time come from the small amount of cat-thralls this diety has kept around for whatever reason. Right after the work on the new cloning equipments was finished, the god of the feline beasts would order these thralls to be split off into a separate species. As it would turn out, this was indeed a good investment of action, as the newly split species provided The Devourer and it’s remaining brethen with a significant strenght boost. However, much like the devourling wallcrabs, this species too has to deal with an inheritly low mutation rate, slowly but surely putting it behind other species which evolve or cast actions on a faster pace. It was also noted that the species-splitting techniques used to split the two Devourer-loyal species off seem to act strangely now with 2 such species present in the forum (will require much effort and luck to split off a 3rd species).
Deus meanwhile noticed that the Mistvault PM, or more accurately the MwTC PM now that the Mistvault has been ripped up into pieces which have mostly fallen into the cold void below, is quite small for hosting the now three species exclusive to this place, as it’s limited to a single PM. The archmages’ god quickly figures out what was in need of being done and didn’t hesitate to do it - It asked the MwTC leadership to expand this secluded environment into a second PM. While this wish was indeed put into life right as wanted, with the three Devourer-loyal now all having the “UC” conservation status, the amount of effort needed for the MwTC to caretake UC-level populations of those three species across the 2 PMs now especially as the council has lost most of it’s users due to the rise of the two other groups is nearing the limits of what the users determined to destroy the mistdom once and for all can take. Any more expansion in either the species number or the size of the PMs is destined to result in MwTC imploding and most likely turning into a piece of forum history soon after…
The news of the re-rise of the AI cursors caused some scare within this species as, if they did manage to somehow find their way into this secret PM, they could easily outspeed the cat-beasts, albeit with their reactivation after a long break the cursors would most likely not be an immediate danger to this species’ closemost future…
