Whilist the organizations haven’t been planning any major action against the creature for this month, it looks like that the Forum has made one crisis itself - After a recent increase in popularity due to appearance of Prosper in a ThyVideo video, a few dozen new users joined the forum, flooding it with messages. A few days after this has begun, the forum suddenly shut down and wouldn’t open for a few days. In the meantime, creatures in the forum started facing problems as the letters stopped being placed, making many threads turn into “deserts” just a few hours after the outage. When it ended, the Forum users found the damage caused by forum critters, with both FPG and EA declaring a “major hunt” against them. However, the creatures didn’t suffer quite a lot during this accident and it’s consequences


Meanwhile, due to the increasing interest of the users for organisms’ biology, especially for the Fabuloid genus with properties deemed interesting, CPO has officially created a subgroup known as “CPO - Research Community” (CPO-RC). CPO is also still hoping for a species to settle in α-FP.

D. Bontopius has evolved an unique behaviour - by digging holes and carefully placing letter chunks inside, they grow into new letter-like characters. While certainly not fixing the pre-destroyed text, users find this behaviour interesting, and so now have more sympathy for this species. It also now lays more eggs, which hatch into less developed individuals. If the creature is killed, a fluid inside it’s stomach will explode, injuring or killing the murderer.

M1: turn second front pair of legs and the pair of legs right behind the middle into wings

M2: castes, specifically worker, warrior, and propagator, as all castes are able to reproduce. propagators have larger wings and have 2 pairs of legs modified to more effectively carry chunks of letters to the walls of new posts and topics where they will start a colony, and then once it is self sufficient, they will collect more letter chunks and do it again. they are able to self-fertilize, and to prevent inbreeding they have drastically increased genetic recombination. the other two castes barely vary at the moment.

Round 17 - Year 1, Month 5

Since the last month, many new users have joined the forum, contributing to the various organizations. One group of users, however, started causing problems for the community as a whole - the self-claimed “Internet Wizards”. According to this folk, the organisms were products of “cybernetic magic” filling out the forum and the internet as a whole. They went out further and said that the organisms should be eradicated in a specific manner in order for the ones to kill them to attain “unique powers”. As so, all of them have joined Eradication Agreement, quickly converting it to their’s beliefs and turning the organization into “Eradication Society - Cybermagic Solution” (ES-CS). They have turned their eyes towards Fabuloid Pseudo, which they consider to be the species most rich in the “cybermagic”. Over the course of a few dozen days, they also invented a new way of killing the critters, alternative to the previous “slash and push” method. Whilist the most radical anti-creature groups have greeted them with hapiness, FPG, CPO and the site’s moderators have condemned the wizards’ pseudoscientific contribution into the community.

Expect events from now onward to be more interesting

M2: larval possession(the larvae can enter organisms through the skin, digestive system, and respiratory system and spread their cells throughout the organism. this occasionally facilitates horizontal gene transfer, whether due to viruses or larva cells eating the host cells, and allows larvae to control the organisms they possess if they have a higher int value than the host. adult wall slugs are not immune and neither are other larvae, though this does mean the larvae are easier to transport and can combine into big larvae to intimidate predators, though possessed wall slugs are not taken over, and instead get shared control)

Mutation uno: slightly larger brain to process the information that its eyes and nostril (idk if it has a nostril even) provide it.

Mutation dos: Digging limbs to encourage plant growth giving it cover and attracting prey to its hunting grounds. (if not then just mating pairs hunting down prey together allowing young to pick up tricks on how to hunt specific prey)
