How can I breathe if I’m all in the water?
M1: Mantle

I totally forgot about this it seems
M1: camouflage colors to become nearly undetectable to users
M2: two specialized tentacles for jumping at the back of my creature
Round 3 - Year 0, Month 3
While the various organisms are now becoming increasingly unique, the Users got close to a breakthrought in their combat tactics, which may result in thousands of creatures dying, and possibly going extinct.
Species
@Teaking - Multipoda TeaKinges, “The Crawler” - HO
Mutations: Camouflage (+1 Stealth), Jumping Limbs (+1 Speed)
Over the past month Multipoda creatures has turned darker in coloration, which caused the specimens of this species to become harder to detect when standing atop of the black soil. And if an user manages to still see it, a pair of freshly-specialized limbs at back of the body allow the organism to hop to other, safer place.

@fralegend015 - Fabula Ambulapoda, “Centipede” - HO
Mutations: Eyespots (+1 Stealth), Cute Features (+1 User Usefulness)
Fabula has recently developed 12 eyespots located at front of the organism, allowing it to sense the environment around it better. Besides that, the creatures have evolved features, which are considered cute by some of forum’s users. However, other forum users rather see this development as a pathetic attempt by the organisms to tame the users.

@doomlightning - Dichorisare Chiozore, “Divider” - HO
Mutations: Mantle (+1 Strenght), Joints (+1 Speed)
Dichorisare has developed a Mantle, which contains all of it’s internal organs, and provides them with some degree of protection. The species has also got another feature - Flexible Joints, which give the creature extra maneuverability.

@willow - Dichorisare Hemozore, “Photophagous Divider” - HO
Mutations: Photosynthetic Pigments, Carbon Fixation Enzymes
D. Hemozore has converged with the letters and symbols of the forum, developing pigments and enzymes required for photosynthesis. It’s now able to survive on far less nutrients.

Let’s get to this new statistic which you may’ve noticed in your statistics panel - User Usefulness (or UU for short).
UU makes forum Users less likely to hurt and kill a species, for instance if it is below User Hunting Pressure. However, UU mutations, after you get 1 point in this statistic, will decrease Stealth by 1 point aswell (+1 User Usefulness, -1 Stealth).
Besides that, I’ll introduce a new rule concerning nervour systems and sizes.
In order to be able to develop a brain or increase your creature’s size, one must first have developed their circulatory and respiratory systems. If you want to unlock small size or a basic brain, you will need to get a tier 1 circulatory system AND tier 1 respiratory system. Specialized circulatory cells or something of similar function will be treated as upgrade to both cirrculatory and respiratory systems.
M1: large polynucleate skin cells that contain higher concentrations of chloroplasts and have contractile vacuoles they contract and expand using myofibrils as a form of active respiration
M2: leaves like those of the leaf sheep but with blue and red tips, both for more surface area to breathe and photosynthesize and to look cute
Species name: Fabula ambulacustos
Nickname: Guard
Mutation 1: A stretchier stomach which allows the organism to eat a bigger portion of a single letter, therefore also allowing it to pass longer periods of time between feedings.
Mutation 2: The limbs develop rigid structures at their ends, these structures are similiar to claws and are used to attack any other organism that tries to eat letters .
whelp, guess i’ll just photosynthesize like i’ve been doing and only eat letters to grow like i was planning on doing
M1: Ring nervous system
M2: Stylocone tail (evil face)
You don’t have a circulatory system yet…
Who say i dont have too for a brain
looking at u flat worms and amphioxiformes
Well, this rule now exists
if that soo
i will change abut to circulatory system
how exactly does the original species reproduce? asexual reproduction isn’t very descriptive.
It reproduced sexually.
M1: circulatory system
M2: omnivorous diet by feeding on both vegetation and other creatures
oh nevermind i made a mutation for asexual reproduction but why does my previous mutations thing not have both since i stated i wanted them to work together
They CAN do reproduce asexually, but they have the option to reproduce sexually aswell.
The “Red queen” theory and the “River bends” theory bout sexually reproduce vs asexually say why its that like
Recomend to read that
Round 4 - Year 0, Month 4
EVENT
(Removed to not take up forum space)
Severity - 3/4 (-3 conservation status)
For a long time now, the users only pushed the creatures off the posts into the void below. Now however, they have learnt a new, dangerous ability - by fastly moving the cursor, they now can slice the organisms before removing them off face of this forum. This innovation has grim effects on local lifeforms…
Species
@Teaking - Multipoda TeaKinges, “The Crawler” - NE
Mutations: Circulatory System, Omnivoreous Diet
Preceding the users’ invention, Multipoda has evolved a circulatory system which transports oxygen and nutrients through it’s body. Creatures of this kind also developed other, important change: by becoming more generalistic in diet, Multipoda can now feed both on Vegetation and other organisms.
When slicing was introduced to it’s environment, Multipoda populations were put under extreme pressures - Users managed to find a tactic which is extra more effective against this species, putting it in direct risk of extermination. Now, only a small population inhabiting a single topic lives, and if it doesn’t develop right adaptations, it’s doomed to go extinct, either by the users or the aggresive Fabula.

@fralegend015 - Fabula Ambulacustos, “Guard” - ID+
Mutations: Stretchy Stomach, Claw-like Structures (+1 Strenght)
In order to get more time between feedings, Fabula specimens have developed a stretchier stomach which can hold larger portions of the letters. Behaviour of this species has also changed - it developed rigid, claw-like structures at ends of it’s limbs, which are used to attack other herbivores which it sees eating letters.
When cursors began to slice, many populations of Fabula have collapsed, however the species as a whole managed to survive in multiple topics.

@doomlightning - Dichorisare Chiozore, “Divider” - ID
Mutations: Circulatory System, Stylocone Tail / Evil Face (+1 Strenght)
Dichorisare, before the advent of slicing techniques, has developed a circulatory system. It also got another, unique feature - a Stylocone tail, which ends with a face of the current most powerful creature - that being Fabula.
Having fooled many users into thinking that this species is Fabula, Dichorisare managed to outlast the event and currently lives in many locations.
I was not able to find information on what a “Stylocone tail” is, so I had to guess it on my own. Sorry if this is not what you were asking for.

@willow - Dichorisare Hemozore, “Photophagous Divider” - NE-
Mutations: Active Respiration, Cute Leaves (+1 User Usefulness)
During the last month before slicing has been invented, D. Hemozore has developed an even more plant-like appearance - It has developed unique cells with many nuclei that can contract and expand as a form of active respiration and leaves for more surface area for photosynthesis and breathing.
Extinction had a large impact on populations of this species, which had collapsed in every topic it inhabited. Even worse, nothing stops Fabula from tearing apart creatures of this kind who tried to eat letters, and Multipoda has easy time killing photophagous dividers if they end up in the topic to which this omnivoreous species is currently restricted. Now, only a few dozen specimens are still alive and if they don’t evolve in just the right way, in few weeks they will be gone completely from the forum.
Your oxygenating-oriented vascular system will now be treated as a circulatory system.
Statistics:
Preys On: Vegetation
Predated By: Multipoda TeaKinges
Species which have NE- conservation status no longer suffer from User Hunting Pressure as most users by this point think that the species went extinct.
Do not expect another round until September.
Mutation 1: The eyespots depress into cup shapes inorder to better distinguish the direction light is coming from, allowing them to better determinate the direction in which objects are and allowing them to better defend posts.
Mutation 2: Circulatory system.
