What is the most popular song genre at the present?

Pop?

they make AI covers of songs. “vocoded to” seems to be an extreme version of that. as a meme.

AI songs have been around for like a year or two now…

I don’t play Thrive with headphones, so I do not know how good the music is in the game. Is there a variety of different music styles for Thrive, or is there a general “style” that composers stick with?

After listening to the music playlist of Thrive, I got my answer. Also, will there need to be new music themes composed for the Macroscopic Stage, or when other new stages/divisions are brought into existence?

is your computers sound broken or something? why would it require headphones for you to listen to the music in game?

I live in an area with a lot of noise, so it is harder to hear things through my computer’s speakers. Depending on the brand of the computer, the in-build speakers quality can vary greatly; unfortunately, I don’t have great in-build computer speakers. Also, a weird quirk with Windows computers is that for some reason, the sound quality can vary depending on the version of the operating system. I don’t know about the truth of the third statement since I have been using Windows 10 for several years, but a number of people have complained about quality of sound on Windows 11. Thus, I normally use headphones makes things sound better.

Moreover, I don’t normally play with sound for Thrive, or when playing videogames in general, unless it makes a game unplayable without listening to the sound. This is because I get too distracted by in-game music and want to listen to the game music instead of playing the actual game. This is why it takes me so long to watch videogame playthroughs, in addition to the fact that I always pause games to read and re-read the in-game text.

I hope this answers your questions.

Some themes for multicellular will probably just be recategorized as macroscopic themes. It can be expected that we’ll see some music for macroscopic pop up when the development nears it through.

Everywhere at the End of Time is one of the creepiest albums. It goes from normal, oldy-type music to S T A G E 6 I S W I T H O U T D E S C R I P T I O N

There is also “An Empty Bliss Beyond This World”…

Yes, it’s the Caretaker’s most approachable album, actually.

There also exist other albums besides those two of caretaker’s.

For example, We’ll All Go Riding On a Rainbow.

I could guess you’d also recommend the M series OST…

Yeah, the MOTHER games are often celebrated for their OST, it’s really good.

Which one is the best though?

I really like the goofiness of Bothersome Guys from Mother 3. Mother 1’s Battle Against a Dangerous Enemy is also quite good.

Edit: At this rate, there’s a chance I might be in the first 5 ascenders!

When did this become about videogame music? The weirdest videogame music I have heard was from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess when you are in the city in the sky. Hearing those ooccaa voices nearly drove me insane.

Movie wise, it would be Requiem for Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano, mixed choir & Orchestra from 2001: A Space Odyssey. I could not sleep after hearing it.
