I had an old pair that did the same. They sadly broke years ago tho. As for the weird creature I though of it as a filter feeding benthic creature, sort of like the weird things you find in the twilight zone, but on the surface. Sorta like pre-devonian megafauna if you know what I mean.

Yes, though blood is unlikely, small pouches is more likely. Edit: sorry I was thinking vertebrate s, hemolymphmight be better at holding toxic compounds than blood or much worse, Iād have to do research edit 2: birds donāt mind capsaicin, so yeah flying bugs would be Belgiumed.

I heard that Amazon was planning to make an āadaptationā of Tolkienās Silmarillon, but then lashed out at Tolkienās fans because they were angry about their (cough) controversial casting (cough). Some claim that the Tolkien estate has sold the movie rights to Amazon as long as they listen to their input, but I find that hard to believe. Tolkienās son has always refused to give Peter Jackson the right to adapt The Silmarillon, which totally shows how he wants to protect his fatherās work. So why would he sell the license to someone as sinister as Jeff Bezos?
