what do you mean 3 months? It has been 1 year
? ElysianEclipse reddit was โCreated Jan 13, 2022โ Iโm pretty sure itโs been just since December at most when elysian eclipse started. Okay, thereโs a small chance that it existed for some time before anyone knew about it and us Thrive developers also hadnโt heard about it.
Woah! your cell can actually eat the huge iron chunks if its big enoughโฆ
im learning more and more about the mechanics of this game each day lol
thatโs been common knowledge for a while now
In my experience it is usually the opposite. Though, I guess it might happen if the company making the product is not experienced enough to know what manufacturing the product would actually cost, so I guess in that case they might realize after making the initial batches that they could sell it for cheaper to try to maximize sales.
Itโd likely be more cost effective to get just 2-4 TB of M.2 SSD storage. I think the prices for the 8 TB are still a bit of a waste of money better spent on other components, unless you really need that much SSD storage. I have 2 TB M.2 gen 4 SSD as my primary drive with quite many much cheaper per GB hard drives for bulk storage where the access speed doesnโt really matter.

This doesent have nothing to do with the previous topic, this is some miscellaneous gameplay stuff i had experienced ingame that i found cool and i didnt know where to post.
My Cells in the game have the Strategy to starve enemy cells to death

They cant absorb or damage the enemy cell so they just hold it in place with 4-5 friendly cells and wait for it to starve.
This wouldnt be the most effective strategy normally but, my cells swap out the positions holding the cell inplace constantly, so that cells go and get the resources they need while the thing still gets held in place. In this image the swarm was far more than 4-5 but thats just because we had a ton of cells nearby. Alot of them ran off a minute later
seems wildly inefficient but at the same time absolutely amazing.
@hhyyrylainen how much does an image take up space? Can i post maps in my forum game?
if i recall theres an entire forum game based on images so it cant be that bad.
It might be best to just u0pload it to imgur and then link it to the forum

like this
probably true. nice thingamabob btw
Yeah I have no idea what it is
Just something I randomly had bookmarked?
buncha square islands i suppose?
I think it came from this roblox game actually
Exactly the same amount as the image file takes up. If you hover over an uploaded image it shows in the bottom left corner how many kilobytes it is. For reference a text post would need to be very long to even take up a few kilobytes. A reasonably sized image might be around 300 kilobytes meaning it is the equivalent to more than 300 normal posts. Thatโs how much more storage posts with images take up.
I donโt mind actually useful image content being uploaded, I just take issue with low effort / stolen memes (which is what they end up being basically always). As mentioned before, if you want to be kinder to the forumโs storage, you can upload less important images to imgur and just link them here.
