Will there be more trailers of this kind? A lot of features have been added since 0.5.6, not going to lie (not that I’m saying that you should make more of such trailers).
Might be the case as a lot of features are here.
Probably, but I think it’s much more important to save the effort for when we have multicellular done (or at least started in a way that is visually already good). At that point we definitely have to have a new trailer on our store page.
Okay… So I best guess that the next trailer would be on the decade anniversary of the first one - 2031 (which I’d consider a realistic date for when Multicell S. will be at around the same level of complexity as current Microbe S.).
Do you guys think the thrive prototypes should be put on the website in a “prototypes” section, like what Spore did?
I don’t know though.
The prototypes, if you mean the ones separate from the main game made with python, haven’t been really worked on for 8 years. I don’t think anyone is up for the effort of documenting those on our website.
Aww man.
I wish i could play them…
They should still probably all work, you just need python installed and a few packages from pypi to run them. Packaging python programs for easy execution from other computers is not super difficult, but still takes a bit of time and effort to do.
off Zuckerberg, Mister lizard.
Zuckerberg is going 1984?
Always has been.
Your post reminds me of a popular meme.
Wait it is just all Ohio

One step further and they’ll not just read minds, but also influence them.
I think its just me, but sometimes i question my skills and I think I’m improvising everything, as if was I was trying to follow a music that I don’t know on my violin.
For example, when I’m drawing, and I see that my drawing turned out to be more or less acceptable, I think “am I doing something wrong?” Yes, I know that art is difficult and all, but i have this feeling that I’m not understanding something… basic?
Sometimes you might actually just be missing a crucial bit of information. It can be a frustrating moment because you can’t really know what you don’t know.
My most recent experience with this sensation is a lack of understanding of time signatures in music. It was only when I was watching a video on music theory and they got onto that topic that everything suddenly just… clicked. And suddenly I understood what I was missing.
Without knowing what you need, it might help to seek out advice from another artist that might be able to point out what is missing, or you can look at some tutorials that go through the process bit by bit.
Other than that… Practice. Practice, practice, practice. The more you do something the more you get a firm understanding of the finer details that are nigh impossible to convey through language.
we got accepted into the planned parenthood peer education program
