If the forum had a thousand active users, I promise you it’d be impossible to prevent it from becoming like Twitter.
I believe there’s a lot of work to do, but it might just hit next year during the summer.
I’ve started taking a Front-End Engie career path on Codecademy and I’m progressing well. After I get a job in three months, I might try to repair some broken plugins for the forums.
Random, but I’ll speak of it anyway.
Metro Exodus
The Last of Us Part II
Saints Row Reboot
Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Games that were ruined either by lack of good writing, real life politics put into them or both.
I swear to God, if BioShock gets ruined too, I’m done.
I just learned that the clinical trial I was looking forward to isn’t for 1 year, but actually 2-3 years. That means 3 years away from home and from my family. I’m still looking forward to it, but moving temporarily to the US won’t be easy, especially with such a belgiumbelgium for a President. I just hope I won’t get deported in the middle of the trial.
I don’t think it would devolve to that point. Though it depends on if we are talking about daily active users or monthly active users who most of the time are just lurkers. Also a lot depends on how many more volunteer moderators we could recruit.
Probably with enough server resources. https://meta.discourse.org/ likely has quite many simultaneously active users. If we had 1000 online users at once, we would have been considered a very large forum even in the heyday of online forums.
I noticed that already like a year or two ago. For me they also started to appear in suggestions suddenly. I mean it makes a lot of sense why Google would offer movies for rent on their video platform.

Is anyone else excited for Starship? It’s going to revolutionize space travel. It’ll be the galleon of the modern age.
Still much faster than anyone else is attempting to do the same thing.

It’s going to be ready in a year or two, and when it is, it’ll be like when the Wright brothers invented the first plane. I cannot overemphasize how much of a game changer a reusable ship of that size would be for space travel.
The Falcon system is already essentially all of modern day space travel, and it will be made completely obsolete by Starship.
