More censor shenanigans to be patched… or not.
I mean I don’t like cyberpunk… I only played it put of a sense of obligation. I think a lot of games these days care more about sequels than continuation. Even live service games that in theory can keep making money seem to be like that sometimes (overwatch 2 lol).
Why would you be obligated to play a game?
We’ll see about that in some 70 years.
It was seriously one of the more important games of ever. I remember when it came out, I was kinda sad because it was apparently a glitchy mess and I didn’t have anything more powerful than a laptop to game on. When I built a decent gaming PC I felt I kinda had to try it. People built PCs to play cyberpunk, I wasn’t one of them but I had to take the opportunity. I didn’t finish the game, obligation can’t carry you that hard, but it’s what makes you buy the game. Why else do you think advertising budgets are so high? Make gladiator 2 and wicked cultural events you can’t miss out on.
What makes it so important that it’s “one of the most important games ever”?
I guess all that effort was considerably undermined by the poor performance of the game when it first released…
I’m kinda into Space Engineers at the moment (although I’m not playing it uhh…) and I know - more or less - what’s going around. They’ve been experimenting with new version of their game engine. It’s supposed to be able to do fluids (1st game has ice on planets instead of water, even if they are earth-like). Also better destruction and new block placing system. Other than that sequels are, I guess, quite a money generator, at least for the time of release. Also, although I’m not any game studio leader, I know it can be tedious to keep doing one single game and sometimes doing something fresh gives motivation kick.
I’m no gamer then…
Well I never wanted to be a “gamer”, like a job or something. I just play sometimes (well often, unless I’m out of ideas what to do in-game, then I do other computer stuff) to have fun.
Right now I’m playing mostly modded Minecraft (Better than Wolves, if you’re interested, both survival and creative redstone stuff), but not too long ago I struggled to find a good game to play for some time so I just watched yt. I know it isn’t a big deal of an advice, but I can also advice finding something to pinpoint your mind on for a bit. For example I got a little bit into sword fight martial art after watching a video. Also I got into metallurgy, it’s quite interesting and I learned some cool things just by reading Wikipedia and googling stuff out. Did you know that before, and maybe still, iron ore actually never reaches melting point during smelting? Carbon monoxide emitted from burning carbon steals oxygen from iron ore (oxidized iron). But that wasn’t born out of watching a YouTube video, but from a Minecraft mod “TerraFirmaCraft”. I got into it to the point I even made metallurgy mod for Better Than Wolves recently lol.
How many MC mods have you made by this point?
And a gun mod. I cut it out cuz I’m feeling kinda anxious about stuff, even though showing it would be 100% legal. Basically Minecraft appearently had terms of service or something thing where you can’t have guns in your modded server. You might have heard about it
What happened to that one mod with rituals and stuff?
It’s the sacrificial
Did it get any more developments?
I understand it now.
Aah is called like that because that’s the sound you make when you see that he has completely overtaken the forums.
Perhaps that’s the reason for why my name is like that, even if it predates my arrival here by some time… Sv tivletw xlivi’w wsqixlmrk hiitiv ksmrk sr…
Maybe one day they will mention Thrive in a video…
