It doesn’t. We’re nerds. HP has such an enormous fandom that it includes non-nerds, and the nerds obviously all read fanfic. Additionally, if you guess solely by generation and vapidity, most people here are youngish and not too vapid. I’d predict those demographics have consumed some fanfiction, and if you’ve consumed some fanfiction, you’ve consumed some harry potter fanfic, it’s just that ubiquitous.

Yeah, nerds are kinda predictable. I’d bet half the people here have a favorite conlang too.

This reminds me of Virion from Fire Emblem: Awakening. He literally says in his introduction something like “Am I not the Archest of Archers?” And in the Future Past Xenologue (one of the DLCs), if you chat with Ruined Future Inigo (Virion’s Child), Virion says “I am the Fatherest of Fathers, and you are the Sonniest of Sons.” Or something simiilar.

I do occasionally, but the problem is the outlines end up becoming larger and larger as I end up coming up with more and more ideas. Also, I love creative writing, including poetry. Obviously, I don’t use AI for writing things since fanfics and other creative writings can be as stupid or good as you want them to be, with the added benefit of knowing you are NOT using material stolen from other people…

Also, Sriracha Doritos are good! Better than regular Sriracha since it has less sourness and no bitterness of regular Sriracha.

Not sure if you can make fanfictions on something which isn’t alive nor a piece of literature. It’d probably be weird if it existed through.

Hell no. Reading some excerpts of Mein Kampf was one of the most interesting and enlightening parts of my early college experience. We should put it in context. Children should know about how to intake information without trusting it. Our school system isn’t built for that. Our school system teaches that you input knowledge, then you get quized or you apply it. No one gets taught much that isn’t necessarily good or true. It isn’t til college you learn all that much nuance.

The way Quebec’s High School system teaches history is to try to convert youth into separatists that are overzealous with the French language. I’ve also recently heard that there has been an increase in non-qualified teachers in Quebec schools (people with no diploma for teaching).

I was actually 100% aware of that! I dislike the Quebecois school system a LOT for someone who’s never been to Canada at all.
