They would be going at mach 33. If they can’t find a heat resistant material for that, they can let the outer surface melt away and reach space with a smaller ship.

you would have to have either a caste or your entire species able to withstand accelerating from almost completely stationary to that speed over the course of a trebuchet arm’s rotation though, and pretty much nothing with soft tissue can survive that, and you’d need your creature to not have a circulatory system that’s affected by gravity as well, and you’d need your creature to have hard brain tissue, since you’d need it to have a brain to control it in the society stage, though since the craft has a predetermined trajectory, you could just load it with spores and fire it at the moon, and make it explode on impact so the spores get spread everywhere instead of getting pressure cooked the second they hit the ground

I’m wondering if doomlightning is having a stroke.

Last time I remember… I didn’t have a stroke
But I did have an umbilical cord wrapped around my neck… I’d say it’s close enough.

And I have a communication mental belgiumation (just kidding, but for some reason, I’m listed as having psychosis in government documents for some reason, even though I don’t and everyone knows it)

But the real reason is that I use Google Translate to write what I write here, I have an academic level of English (need it because of my studies and work with plant abuse), but it’s more comfortable for me to write in another language than in English in terms of speed.

That’s the real reason that almost all of my conversations were actually like that.

So no, I didn’t have a stroke.

But I am at risk of having one…hopefully it doesn’t happen.
