I actively turned off suggestions, or more accurately I turned off watch history and it complains a lot about that. I wonder why it’d do that if you’re signed out though…

maybe its because youtube clears your history on youtube every once and a while (like searches, videos watched), and so it needs something to go off of once it clears that every like 18 months or something by default

Idk… youtube act very strangely latly - The rate of product promotion and advertising has risen to a level that is not only unbearable, but also manages to infiltrate things that I don’t believe are even related to what I usually watch on YouTube (which is usually art, science, gaming and music) to something like… therapy, ASHD or I don’t know - conversation apps with AI (some of which descend to a level that, for me, crosses lines). I put several ad blockers on there but it manages to bypass them for the most part.
you cant go on youtube thos day without ADblocker in any kind

No, but there was a horror flat/VR game in the days of the Oculus Rift DK1 called Maere: When light dies and it had a monster called the Mange-Lumiere, which means light-eater.
