THE NEW Miscellaneous Talk That Doesn't Deserve A New Thread Thread Thread (Part 2)

I just realized I forgot to put a link to the second episode of First Life with David Attenborough. The second episode covers the Cambrian Period and important life from later periods.

Do you think David will stay at their job of being THE nature documentary narrator up until their heart makes it’s last beat?

Probably. Sir David Attenborough loves to make Nature documentaries, and everyone else loves that he keeps on doing them.

Hm, so he isn’t just the voice for the documentaries, he is the one behind them?

I think he has a hand in making them, since he has experience in doing film. Sir David Attenborough used to be a producer for the BBC when it began over 60 years ago before he became a tv host.

I see. Though these documentaries obviously have other people important in the process of crafting them…

Sir David Attenborough also likes to push the boundaries of TV and TV technology. To my knowledge, he is the only person to win a BAFTA award in every single TV category since it inception over 60 years ago.

How much time do you think he has left? Remember that immortals aren’t real.

Probably not much time left. He is already 98 years old, but is happy that he can walk around and keep doing what he loves to do. He had a very lonely period after his wife died in 1997.

Remember when everyone was saying that The Queen would live forever and then She dropped dead in the span of like a week at most?

I hope King Charles does not die that quickly…

Though He is sure to reign shorter than His Mother…

I never realized that Mantis Shrimp has existed since the Carboniferous, over 400 million years ago!

Cephalopods for instance have only diversified more recently…

I really wouldn’t mind. The main issue is no one interesting to take the throne. I’ve heard some really cool proposals for Prince William to be William the last as a sequel to William the Conquerer and for the UK to stop being a monarchy because monarchy isn’t really serving anyone, but that’s not happening most likely.

'Tis tradition.

Tradition doesn’t mean it’s good (anymore).

It’s their national pride. I respect that.

I can guess Deathwake has a good argument against that point too.

I knew there were Mars-equivalent places on Earth, but I did not realize lakes could be one of them!
