it’s called vibe coding cause it’s made based on what looks correct to the autocomplete engine writing it, and not whether or not it actually works

Not exactly vibe coding, but I wrote a JSON definition of data and a C# class, then I was able to use what is basically AI auto-complete to build a bunch of switch statements for mapping the relevant data to what was in the JSON to what identifiers were used in the game. That really surprised me that despite writing a bunch of code, there were no errors in it and was basically what I would have written, but just done much faster than I could have typed it.

So short pieces of well-defined code can be made by an AI quite easily. Though I do agree that any slightly bigger code segment / feature becomes a huge mess if you try to get an AI to do it.
