freetube doesn’t have a picture-in-picture mode so I’m sticking with YouTube for now. sorry, clippy.

The latest version of Freetube does have picture-in-picture.

It is possible. I just downloaded the latest version of Freetube last week. Does updating the application help?

it says the latest version was in January 2025 for me. also the reviews are poor and it only has 3.4 stars. I think I’ll stick to YouTube for now. sorry.

i got it off of Google play because I have an android tablet.

Ohhh…I am using the Windows version and downloading directly from the website on a computer.

What even is the picture-in-picture mode?

It basically makes the video small and you can search for other videos at the same time. I have no idea why YouTube did not call it “Mini-video” instead, as that is a simpler name.

I suppose you could just search for the new video in an another tab…

It is locked to the top of the screen, can be moved around and doesn’t have anything besides the video itself and 3 basic controls so you can watch stuff even while playing game
