I thought you just meant population-wise, not the total bonus.

I don’t think zen still wants to fight. If he did, then he will disappear. I just realized that I can split my researchers into 4 groups and only get a -1 on my roll.

I’d like to set the record straight on Russia, which came up in a private thread. Slavs emerged out of the steppes during the Roman era, spent some time in central Europe, and eventually migrated back east. Russia was the result of mixing between viking invaders and Slavs in eastern Europe if I recall correctly. They then expanded east into Siberia during the early modern period.
I’m Canadian too, BTW.

I actually know the story of Russia otherwise, tho it’s quite similar. The only difference is that the first people in Russia weren’t slavs, but rather independent group of people (The Finno-Ugric if I recall correctly) not really connected to the Vikings. Eventually those people got christianised and slavinised by various “missions” done mainly by Byzantium during the end of the early middle ages. And from there the story is known (of course I’m not saying that Slavs and other groups didn’t live on the territory of Russia, as it’s quite big. There were even, and there still are, turkic people on the territory of modern Russia. As you can see it was (and still is) diverse)
So the Russians will originate from me? I sense a vassal.

I do think you’re right about there being Finnic people there before the Slavs.
@OmnipotentFNarr if you built an embassy in another nation, what would it do? Make it so you aren’t forgotten? Improve relations/ improve trade?
Building an embassy would improve relations passively and make you impossible to forget.

@OmnipotentFNarr, in the Kugelland tab thing it says that i have a population of 188, but i have 88 in stadtburg and 35 in Zweibach, and that gives me a population of 123, was that a mistake or is part of my population lost?
Also i don’t have the lantern in my technology thing
wait my capital had 108 people, why is it now 88? well the other village has more people so maybe that’s why
