The Twilight Realm: A survival Civ Game

What posts are you talking about?

Ye I don’t really care about triple posts or greater, preferably edit but it doesn’t matter to me

I do the same thing sometimes (triple post), and just forget about it.

Nvm I see the posts you are talking about, Positive or whoever flagged please don’t flag for triple posts (in this thread), as I don’t care and the posts aren’t worth flagging

This: The Twilight Realm: A survival Civ Game - #195 by GodOfKnowledge and the post after that.

So I made the right judgement on not accepting those flags, then.

I was mocking you because you can’t post anymore after tripleposting

The Spring Summit

Year 1, spring (⅗), Next summit in 5 rounds

The Warden looked out over the world from his tower, standing on the balcony over everything, in the council room outside of the Twilight Castle. The civilizations of the world were thriving, and it was now time for the first Summit.

Turning his back on the sight, he went to the center of the room, activating the panel at the center of the room, summoning the leaders of each civilization that had so far set roots on this world. The mechanical BZ-Y02, the dreaded Nachillim, the bouncy Slimes, the curious Kajit, the giant Dracorex, the lizardlike Kyhh, the lonesome Mirarans, the quick-footed Nemeri, the mischievous Hobgoblins, and last but not least, the latecomers, the joyful Whalewing Tubehorns, who were eager to fly out and start in their new home.

The leaders of each civ stumbled, startled, out of their portals, looking around at the others and finally settling on the Warden.

“Welcome to the Summit!” The Warden boomed, amplifying his voice to fill the large, circular chamber. “It is here that each civ will join together and share their knowledge in a great book of the world, and where we can resolve any issues that may arise on the planet. Here you can make alliances, and any alliances and secrets will be exposed.” He looked around the room. “Here, you are under a compulsion to tell the truth, so that we can trust what is said here, as we need to be one to face the coming threat.”

“Work together to decide what is best for the world, to peacefully resolve conflict and make alliances here. Everyone here is prevented from attacking the others, and you are encouraged to work together, but ultimately what happens here ultimately resides with you.” One of the walls began glowing as the Warden spoke, and he gestured towards it. “You may also decide together what benefits the seasons will give you, courtesy of The Twilight.”

“And finally, a gift.” Into the room walked a contingent of dark, winged wolves, with horns growing from their heads. (basically, my profile picture, maybe a little more wolf like) As they walked in, the leading one spoke.

“You have each worked to start your civilization as best you can. As such, we, the Twilight Guard, have decided to give you a gift.” Lifting a clawed paw, a burst of flame rose above it. “Each of you now has the basic use of fire, to warm your civs at night and help you —”

A portal opened, and a Disturbing spoke. “sMeLtLe ThE MeLtLe!!!” Then the portal closed.

Startled, the civs leaped back, but the Warden shrugged like it was no big deal. “Yes, thank you Disturbance. This fire will allow you to be able to smelt down and shape any metal you find, if you are able to do figure out how to properly utilize it.”

The Warden walked away from the center pedestal. “This time is yours. The question is, how will you use it?”

Hey everyone! Welcome to the first summit. Here, you can communicate with other civs, and what they have discovered is now known to you (I will make an organized book in a separate dm thread. Please do not post in it, it will be up before the next round is). You can also form alliances with other civs without having to have met them in game. You may do as many actions as you want, but they can only relate to communicating and interacting with the other civs. Once everyone has voted, I will end the summit and make/post the actual round 3.

Another thing I will be making is a picture of the map I can show you, with land controlled by certain civs marked in their map colors. Should be made soon hopefully, and will be updated every summit

The first NPC civ has been introduced. New players can now join for as long as the summit lasts, and they can either take over an NPC civ, have me randomize a civ for them from currently made (including unrevealed) sapients, or make their own kind of race and civ.

The final thing you can do is vote on the buff that will apply the next round. Choose wisely!

  • Power buff (+10%)
  • Defense buff (+10%)
  • Intelligence buff (+10%)
  • Agility buff (+10%)
  • Charisma buff (+10%)
  • Mysticism buff (+10%)
  • Double Roll (I roll twice for you, then roll a d6 to determine if I use the higher or lower roll)
  • Pop Growth buff (+25% pop per round)
  • Neutralizer (all buffs and debuffs are disregarded, but only for the next two rounds (instead of five))
  • Wilds (double chance to encounter plants, animals, or new sapients, and you can explore 2 tiles with one vote)

0 voters

@fralegend015 @doomlightning @GodOfKnowledge @Centarian @UndyingHazard @Deathwake @PositiveTower @The_Magpie @zenzonegaming

Edit: yes I voted because I did a randomized vote for the NPC Civ

Edit 2: TLDR; place to make alliances for future and vote for universal buff before I make next round. You now also all have basic fire control

How many of the council 9 are there?
Are there just 9 kajit there while every other species has 1?

Every species has a group of representatives there, let’s say 15 individuals. So you have your nine council members and 6 guards, let’s say, or if not guards other important figures.

so i just have 14 guards then?

Pretty much, or anybody else you would deem important

I’m just calling them guards, having guards doesn’t really matter anyway as no one can be harmed here

Really I didn’t know what to do at the summits as not much has happened yet so I just said ‘talk about alliances’

My council members decide to split up and talk to as many civs as possible.

So what can we actually do in the summit

Have our civs talk to one another.

Just a description of the current map of the world as it stands, and your relation to one another:

Frale is in the southeast of the lunar desert, directly above the mid south of the main world

Doom is on the eastern side of the far northern continent

To the southeast of dooms continent lies a large, island continent, with zenzone situated on the southeast part of that

To the southwest of zenzone is the southern continent (it stretches from the poles to the equator), and far south along that lies Godofknowledges, with Centarian 2 tiles south and one east of his Civ.

Deathwake lies on the east side of an island of the east coast of the southern continent, three tiles south and three tiles east of Centarian

Magpie lies on the northwest coast of the central continent, at the same north-ness (forget if that is called longitude or latitude) as zenzone but nearly the entire planet away

Hazard is in the center of the far west continent, and Positive lies directly south of him on an island chain in the far southwest

The whalewing tubehorns currently are nowhere, having been in the tower since they entered the world after their initial discovery

I will post an actual image as soon as I have an updated one

You can just sit in a corner but you are teleported into the room

All the chat seems to have dissolved anyway (look at dm thread)

Yes sit in the corner

(My people were asleep during the entire summit on account of their nocturnal nature)

Sorry if this is a bad quality, I have that shaky camera glitch iPhones can have, but this is the map of the world. White is land, blacks is sea. I’ll add territory markers later. Some of the smaller islands got hidden, so just keep in mind that even if you don’t see them there is still some islands of the coasts in some places.

Any markings you see on the land are non-applicable, as they were ideas I had that are no longer in effect (previous locations of magic stones)
