depends, do my individual cells turn into bacteria or do i poof into one bacterium?
if the former, yes but i just recover health faster through it and can maybe overheal and get bigger by doing so
if the latter, probably, as both bacteria would be half ‘original me’ (but also you replace nearly every atom in your body every 7 years soooo) and there should be no way to distinguish which one is ‘more’ me

they still have to replace most of the molecules they’re made of over a 7 year period to not lose their function, the only molecules they don’t replace a good portion of over said period are DNA and maybe some extremely stable structural proteins
and your neurons aren’t supposed to get replaced, you’re supposed to keep them throughout your entire life, which is most of why them being replaced happens so slowly

I go downstairs, wash my upper “limbs”, and warm up another bean burrito, but food will eventually become a problem. I then go back upstairs to my room, and try to communicate with my friends. It is becoming easier for me to type on my computer as an Arthropleura, and I send a message to my online friends on the group chat that “I am enjoying my summer break so far, and hopefully everyone else is, too!” I check what my friends on Thrive Community Forums are doing and then try to use my phone. However, I have to use my mandibles to turn on my phone, and send painstakingly send messages to each of my friends (since the phone buttons are so small) “My phone is having issues, so I won’t be able to call, but I can still send messages.”

Realizing what you just did, you put your Troodon hands over your Troodon mouth, feeling stupid. You dare to peak through your window blinds to see if anyone noticed your outburst, and some people across the street appear disturbed. You decide to turn on your TV next, frantically searching for Jurassic Park movies.

You then find a cave, checking to make sure it is uninhabited, before making it your new home.

You decide to land on a slightly elevated area, hoping you won’t get disturbed, as you fall asleep.

He nods his head, “I might be able to do to the helmet with my equipment in the garage.” You are about to head back upstairs when the doorbell rings, and hear “Hello, I am with Animal Control.”

However, when trying to wake up Daganfox up, you accidentally step on her tail, causing her to howl however a Gorgonopsid would when it is in pain. You put your hand on the back of your head, acting sheepishly, as Daganfox scowls at you. “Sorry about that. I just wanted to know if you would be fine with me take you in for a while, at least until someone else comes along who can take care you better long term.”
Daganfox RNG roll … 1. Daganfox is so angry at domin2kr for interrupting her sleep and stepping on her tail that she cannot control her anger. Daganfox misunderstands what she hears from domin2kr, thinking he wants to keep her for himself. Daganfox growls and runs away, making sure she kicks up dust into domin2kr’s face for good measure in the process.
