The Unexpected Profile Favorite Species FG

Yeah but this time in a world with an universe bound to break

actually the atmosphere most definitely can hold that much water, if you get it hot enough
in fact, it can hold unlimited water if you get it to 374C

and there are literally continent sized lava pools exposed so ya dont got any doubt that the water touching them will get as hot as it needs to be, to boil

but also, the correct way to determine the mass of steam (and therefore the pressure of steam) that will be added to the atmosphere is to calculate how much the sea level will drop, and then take all the mass of the ocean down to however low they drop, and add it to the atmosphere

I feel like no matter what unless we go into a bunker or some new incident happens we all just die

And willow inherits the Earth. Assuming Earth does eventually cool back to normal after millions of years, life will be descending from willow and other microscopic thermophiles.

Well that would make for a sequel…

Should all transformed Players somehow survive?

  • Yes.
  • No.

If we vote no does the fg just end

spec evo forum game on a post-humanity earth, with an extremely thick, high pressure atmosphere made almost entirely out of steam, starting from only the most extremophilic organisms

and for the ones descended from me, the forms that aren’t in use could gradually mutate without any selection when not in use, likely rendering them all pretty much useless except for genes that get moved between forms or something

or they could stay perfectly static when not in use, outside of explicitly made mutations to them by players

and make sure to keep the molten salt flats where australia and south america were

Why did deathwake vote here? Will this cause another error?

It looks like Players want to survive. I will write the next round accordingly.

If someone voted no but the majority voted yes would the no-voter get killed?

I think it would be better for that person to decide for themselves. In this case, Deathwake was not involved in the FG to begin with, so I don’t know.

Maybe this deathwake vote should trigger another incident?

Deathwake as a space blue whale overlord controlling space bees would be crazy.

I am not sure this would even do much damage when compared with what happened to the world just now

The Blue Spacewhale Overlord Deathwake enters the Solar System, sending Space Bees to survey the Star System. The Space Bees start scanning the Earth, causing irregular electronic interference…

Roll … 2

β€œBelgium, people disappeared, too!”, you hear from one of the Federal Police officers, as you hear continued commotion from outside after the car’s wheel was replaced and started, but suddenly stopped from electronic interference. β€œGo check if the suspects are still in the back!”, another Federal Police officer tried to yell in a more baritone voice, possibly the senior officer, but the increasing temperature and pressure was making it harder to do so. The car stops with one of the Federal Police officers coming out, and you quickly grab the back of the bottom of their pant. As the trunk is being opened, you attempt to cladestinely climb up the officer’s cloths, and notice you are no longer remotely near your neighborhood with the sun coming up. β€œOh, Belgium!”, the young police officer says in horror with your parents having disappeared, as you silently mourn the loss of your dear ones, with the heat and pressure was starting to become unbearable.

Rolled … 1

As the car moves under the starry sky, I wonder if could be Detective Donshohuto’s pet, since Anteaters are legally ownable in the U.S.? The heat and pressure start to increase as the Anteater makes an Anteater noise, but I do not know what it means. With my Athropleura body glowing brighter cyan than before from bioluminescent aposematism in the darkness, I attempt to communicate with the Anteater using my numerous limbs, but electronic interference suddenly causes the car to jerk forward, and I accidentally end up smacking the Anteater and scratching the one of the SUV windows. The Anteater makes an angry Anteater noise, and sticks its tongue out at me, but it then starts to become exhausted from the heat. I then realize it is actually someone who has turned into an Anteater.

You boot up your computer, and check to make sure your KSP RP1 save was not affected by the strange deletion. You start to feel the heat and pressure increase as you start to play the save again, as electronic interference causes momentary glitches in your game, when hear a knock on your door. You are suspicious, as no one should be coming at this late night. You run as best as you can using your Troodon legs downstairs with the heat and pressure increasing, and see a scruffy man though the doorhole, who speaks in an exhausted voice with country accent, β€œIt’…me…domin2ktr…” You are taken aback, as you believed domin2ktr died, but also because it is becoming difficult to breath.

Roll … 2

You are utterly terrified by the enormous quantity of hot steam are coming right at you! You quickly dodge, but get slightly singed, deciding to fly to the next island (assuming it was not suddenly deleted). With the heat and pressure increasing, you struggle to fly under the cover of darkness to the next Canary sland, La Gomera (named after β€œGomara,” the word to refer to the nomadic shepherds of North Africa). You are hungry, and land next to Banana trees with fruit on the outskirts of the town Vallehermoso. You hear a lot of common as you struggle to eat with the heat and pressure becoming unbearable, thinking it is probably due to whatever happened to El Hierro, seeing some holes where ridges used to be.

Roll … 4

With a surprised look as you can get as an Anteater, you say β€œThe heck are you?” in Anteater, immediately feeling the increased pressure and heat. The car suddenly jerks from electronic interference causes you to be accidentally smacked by limbs of this mysterious myriapod, and you make a more muted angry Anteater noise than you would want from the heat and stick out your tongue in response. β€œI…had…the…same…first…response…to…AnthropocenianAge,…Animalia,” Detective Donshouto says with trouble breaths while driving, attempting to open the SUV windows for better air. AnthropocenianAge tries to put its numerous limbs in a way conveying, β€œSorry,” as the heat becomes unbearable.

willow roll … 3

The mining entrance collapse creates a hole in the ceiling, allowing some light over you. The sudden increase heat and pressure you feel cause you to become the very thermophilic bacteria Chlorobaculum tepidum, as you hear voices from deeper within the mine. β€œStart…the…machine…,” one voice echoes and trails off in heavy pants, as the heat ever increases. You hear whirling and other mechanical sounds, gunfire, as well as other muted attempts of yelling β€œElectronic…Interference…”, as the heat starts to become unbearable for non-thermophilic life. You eventually start dividing…

Daganfox roll … 3

You are happy that Biscuit is safe and you are alive, but then you feel the increasing heat and pressure. Your mind immediately goes to saving yourselves, as Biscuit starts to struggle to breathe in the hotter air, having to go into the bucket more often. You pick up the Bucket as best as you can, and try to move to any underground spot, but your movements start becoming more and more tiring from the pressure and heat. You will not give up, as it is not what your family would want, eventually finding a small cave. Breathing becomes even heavier as you reach the slightly cooler cave, having to move in smaller and smaller intervals, but you and Biscuit do reach the absolute bottom of the cave, where you collapse.

domin2ktr roll … 5

The heat and pressure increase as the occupants on the bus thank you for saving them and bringing them to your destination in Chesapeake, Virginia, despite the bus failing from electronic interference. You know something terrible is happening based on ever increasing heat and pressure, and attempt to run to JustaDumbThriver’s home. Fortunately, your Giga Chad strength and physiology allow you to briefly increase your running speed to superhuman levels before the increasing heat tires you out again. You reach JustaDumbThriver’s home huffing and puffing as the heat and pressure continue to increase, having to lean on the wall as you knock on the door. You hear scuffling inside, saying as quickly as you can in desperate country accent, β€œIt’…me…domin2ktr…”

Over 99.9% of life on this Earth will not survive the catastrophic effects of the uneven loss of one-fourth mass across the universe. Only single-celled extreme thermophiles, including willow, will eventually remain in this present Earth…

actually, at first it’d start being easier to breathe, due to the increased partial pressure of oxygen, which is caused by the fact that gasses don’t disperse instantly and thus the boiling oceans would at first just displace the air immediately around them
by the time it starts getting hard to breathe, it’d already be too hot for humans to survive
