I mean they wouldnβt known really anything about the environment they are in other than that itβd be a cambrian ecosystem of some sort
I think some sort of a βlook aroundβ action (like what they just did) would be the best option for them to do

Success, you think as you slash down in the sea, probably still near ancient Italy. However, you feel pain on the left side of your Crayfish body as you attempt to swim. Feeling tired from the lack of sleep and realizing you cannot move properly, you make a makeshift burrow in the sand and sleep.

In the dampness of the Carboniferous night, I dream of my life with my family before I became an Arthropleura. I remember traveling together with my family overseas somewhere. My Mother was there sitting beside me on the plane, as I look out the window to look at the clouds. My Father was watching a movie, probably a drama movie. My Mother was watching a musical, probably an old one since I could not recognize any actors.

The accent of the Cretaceous Troodons have all words start with the letter with a βzβ. βZi zm ZustaDumbThriver, znd zi zuddenly zame zere,β you say to the leader Troodon, not wanting to mention you are from another time period. βZome zith zs,β the leader Troodon says, as you realize is it is a female Troodon with a scar, βZt zs zot zafe zy zhe zea.β A member of the pack suddenly swipes at you with his claws as you blink in fear, giving you a scar over your right eye, who says, βZcar zhows zou zre zember zf zack.β

You try to dream of the time periods your family and Biscuit might be stuck in. You see angry protests around your house back in modern times in Burnsville, North Carolina, with clashes of police in the streets. You are terrified of seeing what your home community has become, with your parents forced to the ground inside the house and beaten by government agents wearing full masks and googles. You want to rescue your parents from being unjustly taken away by the government, but realize you also have to find Biscuit. You run in a random direction in your dream, remembering Catfish possibly co-existing with the largest snakes ever to exist, but cannot remember the exact time period.

Seeing the Dracowings lower their heads as a greeting, you want to lower your own head in response. However, you do not get a chance to do so, as a great roar of a dinosaur scares away the Dracowings. You turn around in the noon sun, as a Sinraptor don-gi, one of the largest Jurassic Carnivores, come out from trees behind you. You roar back in response and get into the air, as the nearly nine meters (29 feet) long Sinraptor manages to bite and hold your tail. You roar in pain, trying to fly higher, and prepare to breathe fire on the enemy theropod dinosaur.

You keep thinking, I am going to die. Fortunately, the Visuki indicus does not notice you, and slithers away. It becomes night, as it seems you are in a different part of the world than before. You notice some tropical fruit on the ground, and quickly eat it since you are hungry before something else comes to hunt you. You find a small river, and decide to hide between some large rocks on the bottom of the river as you decide to sleep (fish sleep with eyes open due to lack of eyelids).

You dream of somehow getting in the jail where your brother is held, who was arrested for wrongly assumed possession of an Anteater, and are now looking for the key to free him. Your brother in your dream suddenly starts screaming along with other inmates, putting you on high alert, as you hear loud bird screeches. One of the guards hurriedly unlocks the door, but then your hear a blood curdling scream as a Devincenzia drags the dead guard and eats the bloodied corpse. You start running as fast as a Greater Anteater can as you start to hear the giant footsteps of a Terror Bird coming from behind you. You hear another screech, as you make a sudden sharp turn, causing the Terror Bird to slide in the other direction due to its greater momentum.

One moment, you were at home, dealing with a sudden unbearable heat wave. Based on feeling of water all around you, you seem to be transported to an ocean. For some reason, you cannot see properly, realizing you now have five eyes. Not being used to seeing with multiple eyes, you try to move around in the water, finding your body is more flexible and has many appendages, including having a tail and aβ¦proboscis?! You are so overwhelmed with new sensations of becoming an Opabinia that you do not notice a giant creature next to youβ¦

You are unsure of what will happen when you βdreamβ, since you are thermophilic bacteria now and those definitely do not dream. You find yourself once again in the collapsed mine entrance, but now see a strange cat-like creature with other animal features, which seems very familiar. βAre youβ¦me?β you somehow speak to this other version of you. βWho said that?β the other transformed you asked looking around confused. βDown here, β¦ me,β you say just as confused as the other transformed version of you, as you hear the other version of you mutter, βI must be going crazyβ¦β

You eventually find tracks of some animals, and see something coming your way after a while, but cannot tell what it is due to the white-out blizzard conditions. One object becomes two, seeing the outline of horns, and the sound similar to Rhinoceros. You realize you have stumbled upon a pair of Late Pleistocene Woolly Rhinos, and they start to charge at you. Using your Giga Chad reflexes, you dodge the first Woolly Rhino, and using your Giga Chad strength, you barely manage to hold your ground against the second Woolly Rhino without getting impaled. You think it would be great to have a spear right now, as the first Woolly Rhino turns around.
