Theoretically, if developers could have anyone prominent to help Thrive

Imagine for a moment if the Thrive developers could somehow get the best people in the industry or the world on the team, who would you choose? Note, whoever could be picked can also be placed as collaborators or consultants instead of full-on employees.

My pick: Will Wright, co-developer of Maxis and lead developer of the 2008 evolutionary game Spore. Probably as a consultant since he has his own gaming company, Gallum Studios, now. Unless, of course, he want to collaborate and add his version of the puzzle-like DNA stage idea he had for Spore as a mod.

I think that actually the most impactful thing would be to get famous people to even just talk about Thrive thus increasing the amount of people buying the game. Or getting a famous investor who would be willing to just burn money (as Thrive can’t really act as a proper investment). That way we could increase the team size and vastly increase the development speed. I personally think that we should have at least like 4-5 team members before we consider adding a dedicated game design / manager role (as otherwise there wouldn’t be enough people to do the tasks that are designed).

And at the present we only have 1 full-time employee… not quite close to the goal of 4-5 here. I can guess that this will stay this way until we enter macroscopic stage development.
