Thrive is now on macOS

Fortunately that doesn’t matter now as the MacOS version will now keep being updated alongside the other-OS releases of Thrive.

Hi! could you tell me where I can find a guide on graphics and performance settings for this game so that I can play comfortably on a macbook air m1 16GB? or can someone tell me?

When you open the game, there should be a settings button in the main menu. There, you should navigate to subsections impacting graphics and perfermance and see what sort of setting combinations in those subsections work the best for you. If your macbook is relatively new, you should have a considerable amount of wiggle room to your options.

Welcome, @WhiteLI! Just to add to what aah31415 already stated, settings like entity count/amount, number of CPU cores to be used, and disk cache amount/usage can heavily impact game performance.

Also you might want to look into if you want to have the 3D backgrounds enabled, they are capable of lagging weaker devices.

Those are actually just for the main menu. (though turning off background blur can somewhat increase performance when using a low end graphics processor)

Based on my Mac testing, it is actually most useful to turn on FSR2 and slightly lower the render resolution to about 70% as Macs have really high resolution screens. That would be the first thing I’d tweak on Mac. If that doesn’t really help (and the problem is actually CPU performance) only then I would tweak the entity limit and the cloud processing interval.
