I plan on having the next contest be from the end of the current contest (Pangonia timeline) to right before the invasion of land

correct. there will be multiple rounds for the terrestrial species as it will be far more time passing there. The marine ecosystem will still change as well so it isn’t a complete switch to terrestrial only life

possibly. I want to try and keep ahead of the current stage being developed so the loading screens can be added as the stages start to be worked on

Unsure if you are waiting for me to approve it so yes you can go ahead. For the arts in this project as long as the species live in the same environment you can make an art piece with them. No need to ask for approval.

I’ve been recreating some of the species models inside blender (haven’t fully figured out how best I want to paint them yet) so if anyone wants to reference those models let me know

Eh I think I got the point of how those species should look like. Still others would probably use those better models to make better art.

Im gonna attempt to figure out rigging within blender to try and make some basic animations to show movement of the various clades/species.
