Thrivocracy

This is a democracy… uh… thing.

The 25-Rule Constitution
  1. Censor political opponents all you want, just no fiddling with the elections themselves.
  2. Follow forum rules, duh.
  3. Editing this constitution must be done with a 3/4 majority of voters being in favor.
  4. No creating bodies simply to bypass rule 3 (or any other rules for that matter).
  5. The voters can depose the president/supervisor (me, as of writing this post) with a 3/4 majority. This rule is called the Rule Against Tyranny (RAT.)
  6. The supervisor/president is automatically deposed when interfering with the RAT process.
  7. When deposed, step down gracefully. Don’t throw a tantrum you idiot.
  8. If ya don’t step down, you are a tyrant. As a wise man once said, when tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty. If the president or supervisor is a tyrant, laws against rebellion are null.
  9. The president holds elections, while the supervisor verifies them.
  10. Finally! The rules for the president. Only the president can enact laws (duh).
  11. Only the president can censor opponents (duh).
  12. The president can make administrative bodies as long as the don’t break the constitution.
  13. When a president/supervisor gets deposed, an election is held to replace them.
  14. If you want to be president, just say it, ya goof! Better hope other people want you to be president, though. Also, make sure it’s at lest a day before the next election.
  15. No voting for yourself. Only vote for people who aren’t yourself. This is classified as cheating.
  16. Cheating is instant deposal. Oh yeah, and deposal also means you can’t run in the next 2 elections.
  17. Elections are held every sunday at 6PM in the president’s timezone.. Set your alarm clock for that. Also, elections last a day.
  18. If you vote in an election to change the constitution, instant deposal.
  19. Using alt accounts for voting is cheating. The way I check is to see if they have no posts or activity other than polls. Or they’re known alts of yours.
  20. The voters can hold a referendum to repeal a law. A 3/4 majority is needed for the repeal. I just like that number, don’t I?
  21. If the voters vote to repeal a law, the president must repeal it. If not, instant deposal.
  22. No laws against repeal votes.
  23. When a user breaks a law or the constitution, they cannot run for president or vote for the next 2 elections, the same punishment for getting deposed
  24. If the president is banned from the forum, they are automatically deposed.
  25. Borbe. Do with this what you will.

How many people are needed for this FG?

I think four at least are needed.

Yeah, but anyone can vote on this, regardless of officially being in the FG. That’s because… this is an unofficial formu-wide event of some sort.

Well we still need 1 more person to get interested with this fg…

How are you going to enforce laws or censorship?

I suppose if a law s broken, the effects of the breakage are to be followed by all. In theory.

I’m interested. I wanna play

Well we can start voting on stuff now with 4 people in this FG I think.

Also, nobody has to “join” in the traditional forum game sense. People can just vote without ever saying they joined. The only thing you need to say is that you want to be president.

There must be an interest in usurping you first for that…

This is less traditional than most of my other FGs, so it would have an untraditional joining system to fit. Now, lazy people can join without the typing, and you can join traditionally if you want! Win-win.

To join traditionally we’ll need to submit some stuff here?

No, you just say you want to join. No submitting needed. It’s just an announcement of “Hey, I’m voting!” at most.

Well then I suppose I’m joining.

Also, first election is tomorrow, who wants to be president?

What if no one wants to be one?
