So, I was checking the species graph, and I found this species that returned from extinction TWICE.

I think this has to do with the species going extinct in your patch, and immediately migrating back in from somewhere else.
There probably should be special handling (or at least an icon) for this though.

A skull icon is used if a species goes extinct. The X is for a species that disappeared from a patch. So this is perfectly normal.

I think that when you over your cursor over it it should say “Species dissapeared from patch” or something similiar to avoid confusion
