Trojan detected

Windows defender has detected a trojan (Trojan:Win32/Suschil!rfn) in the github version of Thrive

Windows defender does that sometimes with unsigned binaries. Defender marked it as a suspicious file, not any specific malware (that’s what suschil means in the message). I guess we will have to submit it to Microsoft to get on the false positive list.

Can we do that for free? Also would help to know exactly which binary it is, because we have many different ones.

The Steam version of Thrive works properly without giving any warnings, so I’ve been suggesting people who are hesitant to go past the unsigned executable warning on Windows to get the Steam version of Thrive. (as we are not going to pay the very high costs associated with getting a signing key for Windows executables)
