cells evolve to be very long for some reson (hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
Do you have a picture of it? It would be helpful to the devs to get a picture of this issue. Also, please paste the game output logs on pastebin. com. You can open the game output log folder by going to the pause menue, clicking settings, and go the βopen logβ folder on the last tab. Make sure do get the output before you close the game, as closing and restarting the game with erase the current game outpul log.
Output logs are not likely to be very useful because there isnβt a crash or anything. Without a photo I donβt know exactly how long it got, but Iβm going to assume this is just normal behavior and not actually a bug until then.
Same, maybe autoevo just liked longer cells in the run of this player.
I also have a bit of a feeling joseph is rather⦠immature to say the least.
bro iβm 10 of corse iβm after but its that organesums in singecells tend to be like 7-5 cells long
@hhyyrylainen We have another 12 or lower to handle
Didnβt he mean he has 10 cells?
There doesnβt seem to be an appropriate question in this thread that he could respond to with the statement assuming thatβd be what he meant?
Re-reading the message there is some ambiguity, yeah after all.
Yeah, I think Iβll undo the ban,
@aah31415 I think you are maybe a bit too suspicious of users being underageβ¦
Yeah, that seems more likely.
Still it isnβt exactly clear if Joseph is talking about cells or organelles. So their communication is not very clear at all.
Should we still press Joseph to tell their age or would that be considered too rude/unnecessary now?
I donβt think that is necessaryβ¦ re-reading the message in context makes it very clear that the post talks about cell / organelle count and has nothing to do with age.
That is why I was confused, too.
Getting back to the bug, has anyone else had this issue of very long cells in 1.6.0.0?
No, all cells in my playthroughs were rather regular-sized. I think we might need a bit more data on Josephβs run if we want to figure out whether there are some specific conditions that cause the cells to be this long, or it if was just pure luck on their side
Cell shape / length has no impact on the engulfing calculations, itβs purely based on your hex count and whether you have a nucleus (are an eukaryote) or not.
I donβt think this threadβs discussion had originally anything to do with engulfment, only with the cellsβ shape? AnthropocenianAge doesnβt seem to have said anything about engulfment either?
