Hot take: we should not say any art should never be made. All art should be made. You can say “I don’t support this” or “this is dumb” or “stay away from this tbh” but never “this shouldn’t exist.”

If for no other reason, think about what happens of you win. Art about sticks falling over is illegal. It isn’t art and receives no recognition as such. It is now an incredibly powerful message to do it anyways, you just created the largest uptick in falling stick art since ever. If you don’t like this art, you do better to ignore it that to actually talk about it.
