What about myofibril? When will it work?

Hello, I understand that the development is currently focused on the single-cell stage, but I will still ask. How are things with the “myofibril” organelle? How difficult is it to make this organelle work correctly? I just think that if parts of a multicellular organism are mobile, this will greatly brighten up the passage. Moving jaws, a large single flagellum, repelling other microbes, etc. This is awesome. I wish you luck in developing Thrive

Myofibril is now a macroscopic+ organelle, and will likely only receive proper further upgrades when that stage’s development begins.

Yes, it is included as part of a prototype stage to show the system of how tissue type customization works by placing special organelles to make certain archetypes of tissue. Right now it just increases movement speed in the macroscopic prototype. Once we complete the multicellular stage (we haven’t yet even completed the microbe stage) then we’ll move focus to the macroscopic stage, and one of the first things will be to complete the basic editor and how we will be animating the creatures. Muscle placement will most likely play a part in this.

So it will take a long time until additional features for the myofibril will arrive. Unless someone who is really enthusiastic would like to get started now and does programming work on it. As an open source game anyone can get our full source code and make edits to it and send those back to us for review. So if someone is really enthusiastic about the myofibril they could get started right now in helping develop that part of the game before the team officially moves onto that part.

The roughly same points apply to the axon organelle also only available in macroscopic+, right?
