Hi so I just got this game via steam. I’m on a windows computer. When I opened it, all the writing is just blocks. I tried restarting it and deinstalling/reinstalling it but the problem persists. Is there a way to fix this or is it a problem with my computer? Anyway, thanks for your time.

That’s either a problem with rendering or the font loading. Which language is your operating system in? Is it in English or some other language (this impacts the default language Thrive picks)?
Let’s rule out a rendering problem. Could you do the following:
- Press the second lowest button in that Thrive menu
- That should open the Thrive Launcher
- Hopefully the fonts work fine in the launcher. And you can navigate to the launcher options. In the launcher options please select the “force opengl rendering” option for Thrive. Then start Thrive again.
- That should hopefully resolve the issue if it is rendering related
