after oxygen concentrations rise enough to harm anaerobic life, successfully bring them back down to survivable levels

Tortoise: Colonize a star light years from your own with chemical reaction drives or unlaserassisted solar sails. No decelerating to a stop til you arrive.
Hare: Crawlonize from your planet to another star with superscience engines capable of over 1 g. Crawlonizing means instead of going to your destination, going to the nearest rock in the direction of your destination, repeat til you get there (should set up a base or something at every rock). Should take at least 300 years.

(I see no biological reason peeing relatively pure ethanol or better yet, methanol, is not an option.)
Square cubed law is more a suggestion than an actual law: Make a cell at least one cm in diameter.
A bit behind, but look at where that got us!: Stay in cell stage while auto-evo gets to space stage, ride a rocket ship to space to contaminate the stars!
Backwards priorities: Colonize the galaxy by helping species that own the star systems you want ascend so they’ll get out of your way. (only have to do this once or twice to get it)
