The squids construct small farming villages, with walls to keep out the other species. They have also adopted a language based on colours and patterns displayed on the fins
The arachnids increase in intelligence, and create a simple vibrational language, as well as some tools.
The hominids are reduced in number, due to competition from the more powerful arachnids
He hominids have moved somewhere else, so they can build villages and farms away from arachnids. However the farms are smaller and as a result so are the villages.
Due to the different environments of the arachnids, the vibrating languages change often. Now, there is a vast diversity of vibrational languages that exist in the world.
The Squid-Arachno wars have begun! Propeller crabs, still being the steeds of the squid, allow them somewhat of an advantage, however, the arachnids are arming up. This is generally happening within the largest squid and arachnid nations, with the main participants on the squid side being (these names were formed by taking the noises that occurred in the squid language and using them to form the names): Hghulhs, Nashuhhg, Ghissla, and Jhodd, while the arachnid mains are (taken from the sound of the vibrations): MmmMmMmmm, MmmzMmzmm, and Mmmzmzzmmbb. Not really much to say here, cause the vibrations are only really meaningful to the arachnids.
A few smaller tribes of arachnid and squid have overcome this warfare to be at peace with each other, although not an alliance. Meanwhile, a tribe of hominids have managed to begin domestication of the descendants of the wing-clippers.
To avoid further losses, many squid cities block up the doors of their city walls, and isolate themselves. Only a few squid cities still fight. Due to the lack of maintenance, the roads fall into disrepair
The humans decide that they want whatever is in the squid-cities, and so they try to form an alliance with the arachnid tribes
The squid-cities are all but isolated from each other. However, a few stupid leaders, or possibly geniuses, decide to conglomerate the cities, expanding closer and closer to each other, building fortifications along the way. Meanwhile both species are getting tired of the war soon, although their lords and ladies are still pressing on. Tired squids and arachnids grab their spears and nets and tentacle-swords, and head to war.
Humans try to form relationships with the arachnids, and while some succeed, the majority fail. Arachnids have not forgotten their long grudge against the humans, when they competed for the same prey. So, they do not accept. However, skirmishes along human and arachnid boundaries do not continue, as they will be overextended if they fight two wars.
Relationships between the peaceful squid and arachnid cities begin to flourish, as trade erupts through some of the villages. The arachnids begin to build stone walls, while the squids begin to domesticate animals previously only thought to be arachnid-friendly. They have also begun worshiping some deity that has been borne into existence because of the cross-trade between these nations, a 10-stringed web. The name is unknown to humans.
The meteoroid flies into the earth’s atmosphere, and falls to earth, leaving a small crater, as meteors commonly do
The squid and arachnid alliances are fractured, due to the fact that the arachnids could not see the colour-based language of the squids, and the squids being almost deaf to vibration. Some human tribes prove themselves as capable mediators, and are accepted as mediators
The squids create a writing system, to allow for laws to be written down as an easy reference, which made settling disputes far easier
The arachnids decide they need to be prepared for any future conflict and begin escalating large amounts of underground land for valuable ore.
The peace is only held together with the help of a few select humans who can communicate with both species. They become very wealthy and gain control over large areas of the human section of the world.
The squid’s writing system spreads around, and is simplified into simple colourless lines that can be written quickly in clay. This allows the arachnids and squids to communicate directly using clay tablets, which makes the mediator humans unneeded
The intelligent gunner crabs gain more extended and dexterous maxillipeds. Due to their comfort with fire, they learn to smelt ore, and to work metal. Despite their small size, they manage to take over some villages, and through this learn of agriculture
With the truce in place, arachnids begin drafting a migration pact between them and the squids。They also increasing their military power through sheer numbers.
The gunner crab’s maxillipeds develop into true arms, with the rest of the jaws changing to allow this. They have also made large metal cannons, using their advanced metallurgy and studies of their natural guns. They plan to attack the squid’s and arachnid’s cities
The arachnids hear of the crabs plan to attack them, so they prepare by building larger and stronger walls as well as train more soldiers and train them better.
They ask the squids to help, and the squids provide a small group of soldiers.
