Atmosphere breaks when reproducing on multicelular stage

After reproducing the first budding cell it started dying because it couldnt make glucose from photosynthesis.
Checking the cell processes I noticed that Oxygen was NaN, but it was only affecting my cells, not the others in the level.

Where can I find the logs to past them? I am playing on steam in linux if that makes a difference.

Please put your logs on pastebin.com
and if the game crashed also get the crash report. Instructions here: 0.4.0.1 Crash Reports

Seems similar to this issue from the RC of 0.8.1…

I really hope this is the same issue as what @aah31415 experienced (rather than the linked issue).

Because this kind of sounds like the multicellular specific problem I made a fix for today.

In this case a save file from just before this happened would be the most useful (as long as the problem triggers at least somewhat consistently), though also a save from when this is happening would also be good.

So blastxu would be expected to provide 2 savefiles for the best bug-searching result?

Also I don’t recall coming across NaN problems with my base cell in the savefile of mine, through this might be as I haven’t checked the processes menu and/or as I was a predatory cell with just a single ongoing process instead of one with many processes.

Here are the saves I hope they help

Save with the issue happening: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/fvgtzckts5b336vd3v16g/Issues-Plantum.thrivesave?rlkey=p83cxdbxebffh0dryuzoo3fyu&st=iw8k9wsf&dl=0

Save before going multicellular: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/6gzvjzfmz1p9ulo8t81tu/Plantum_Communum.thrivesave?rlkey=sqidozkbf2otxm4u536hiicdi&st=opmlbnz4&dl=0

Some extra info: it seems like the issue affects every cell of the multicellular species that is not the players first cell.
As in, right after exiting the editor the first cell you command will be fine but the AI controlled ones will have the NaN issue, because I can see them dying all around me. Once you die whatever cell you posses will have the NaN issue.

Please do not doublepost. You can edit your second post into the first one and then remove the (now unuseful) second post.

Thanks.

This is pretty much the smoking gun. This is the same issue as the one I fixed yesterday.

Using your save files I was able to confirm the NaN issue doesn’t seem to trigger anymore with the fix. As an added bonus even the save with the issue happening currently fixes itself after respawning (I seem to die immediately on loading the save).

I will now make the hotfix release and push it out.

And after that all focus will return to 0.8.2 (most likely).
