Dandori

They’re not fliers, they’re a ground dwelling species with a long neck from what I know

blowhogs can fly but they’re more floating, there’s flying insect which I forgot the name off but it exist though they belgium pikmin and throw them into the ground

A behaviour sure useful for future targeting of such a species…

I think bulborbs and breadbugs belong in an order I call “bulbreads.” Both bulbreads and snavians belong in the clade sauropsida. Blowhogs are in the class mammalia, because they are pigs. The arachnorbs are arachnids, and crawmads are malacostracans. Slooches are in the class gastropoda, and goolixes are in the monothalamea class. Flint beetles are insects of course, and amphitubers are class amphibia. But hey, that’s just a theory! A… lacking-real evidence… theory…

Good, now only Cha is left to submit their species…

Pikmin mimos, a species of pikmin which mimics fallen sticks on the ground with a size increase, for the time its likely a rather poor diguise.

Didn’t really plan on joining this but I suppose this one lad to work.

I think AA still needs to submit a scientific name for their species.

Pikmin cepa, since cepa means onion in Latin.

Right, now we are set for round 1… I think?

You are correct! Here’s the species:

L. p. cepa

The green boy in the middle. They emit a foul smell that stuns predators. That’s pretty much it.

L. p. assecula

They are the ones on the left. They suck predator blood, and are very small. When they are full of predator blood, they are very red, but most of the time, are slightly transparent.

L. p. mimos

They are the ones on the right. While they are evolving to look like branches, they currently look more like a chicken mcnugget.

I am just counting pikmin as part of the onion, as the onion is the only thing that spawns pikmin. By the way, you will have to change your species name on round 5. You are currently just changing the subspecies name. Every 25th round, you change the genus name.

So…Is it like an Impossible Nugget, due to being made of Plants? Or are Pikmin Plantimals? I was always confused about that part.

I’m saying that’s what they look like, not what they are. By the way, you can evolve new pikmin from types other than blob pikmin. For example, you can evolve a red pikmin into a fire pikmin, a pikmin that sprays fire. Or a Yellow into an Electric, a pikmin that electrocutes enemies.

Pikmin cepavirentis has developed an extra layer that it can harmlessly rip off of itself to cast even more noxious fumes into the environment. When this surface green layer come off, this new variety of Stink Pikmin then looks whitish-green underneath, like the outer layers of an onion.

Alright! Here are what your stinkmin look like:

Pikmin Assecula now injects enemies with infective spores when sucking their blood, which for now weaken the host and can spread to other hosts if the host in question gets killed and carved up by other organisms.

Pikmin Minos willl evolve a rough exterior to look similar to sticks with their stalk becoming off centre to throw off predators from it being a pikmin as it no longer has a straight stalk. And if possible they’ll become slightly thinner to hide amongst sticks better.

I can imagine this FG will produce quite the many images that will take up a considerable chunk of the forum’s precious space…

Here’s the species!

Stinkmin variants
L. p. cepavirentis

An extra layer to peel off has emerged, covering up the nucleus. When peeled off, it becomes a noxious gas cloud. Underneath, the nucleus is revealed. Even without this layer, these stinkmin still stink.

L. p. archecepa

The original Stinkmin. Nothing changed. Absolutely nothing different.

L. p. neocepa

They evolved a small gas storage chamber to release some fumes. It is not much, but it will come in handy.

Dracula pikmin variants
L. p. assecula

This guy puts small attack cells in his enemies. They spread fast, and the enemies die shortly.

L. p. archeassecula

A blood sucker. No attack cells, though.

L. p. haemovora

Attaches to a creature and feeds on it’s blood for the rest of it’s life. At least, that’s how those onions form.

Stickmin variants
L. p. minos

Longer than it’s ancestor, and a non straight stem. It looks slightly more like a stick, but still has that chicken look to it.

L. p. prometheus

This guy evolved things stretching from his body. Looks more like a stick. Closer related to minos than Epimetheus. Speaking of which…

L. p. epimetheus

This guy had his skin become harder, and is now stronger. Still can get one-shot by a Bulborb, though.

So I guess mine one is properly transparent now?

More transparent than last time, but not fully transparent. Your previous species was slightly transparent.

Can we submit new mutations now?
Also are we all coming just from a single onion?
