Fun Fact

Uranium (U) is the 48th most abundant element in the Earthโ€™s crust, or 2 to 4 parts per million, which makes it 40 times more abundant than Silver (Ag)!

Also a fun fact, humans are more radioactive than a chunk of pure Bismuth, due to how marginal the radioactivity of bismuth is.

There is a common chicory-derived plant called the Belgian endive. Also, since the Common chicory (Cichorium intybus) can be wood-y, some forms are a literal Belgium plant.

Well as long as the filter considers this word for wood-like offensiveโ€ฆ

I was referring to the fact that this plant can be wood-y, was originally found in Belgium, and has Belgian in its name.

I meant that once (if) that word becomes de-listed, then that plant wouldnโ€™t be so โ€œbelgianโ€ anymore from our perspectiveโ€ฆ

Both Panda Bears and Moles independently evolved polydactyl forepaws based on transforming the sesamoid bone in the wrist area. For Moles, it helps them dig, while for Panda Bears, it helps them to better grasp Bamboo.

Myxozoa are subphylum of cnidarians that are the smallest animals known. Being 10-300 ฮผm in length (largest can be 2 mm), they are obligate parasites, containing very few cells. While they still have cnidocysts, they no longer have epithelial structures, a nervous sytem, a gut, or cillia, and most no longer have muscles. Myxozoa reproduce via multicellular spores rather than gametes, and cells divide inside tissues (endogeny). One species, Henneguya zschokkei, even lacks mitochondrial genomes and was the first anaerobic animal found.

Going back to microbial wonโ€™t be possible in-game by the way

I mean, these are multicellular (or very small macroscopic?). Also, the fact that there are anaerobic animals is crazy!

I donโ€™t think theyโ€™re quite down at the multicellular level even when being this smallโ€ฆ

You mean Thrive Multicellular size?

Yeah, they are made of thousands of cells even when that smallโ€ฆ

thereโ€™s a monocellular fellow called Caulerpa taxifolia, which can be several feet large

Yeah but thatโ€™s not planned to be included in the game.

Oh i know, itโ€™s just still pretty neat

I think it achieves that size by having many nuclei in that one cellโ€ฆ

Sea cucumbers are detriviorous echinoderms in the Class Clade Holothuroidea, but anatomically speaking compared to other echinoderms, they are lying on their side. They come in a variety of sizes, from 3 mm to over 3 m, and a variety of shapes, spherical to very elongated, with some sea cumbers being confused for sea snakes and sea jellies.

I am not sure the โ€œpotato creaturesโ€ are actually sea cucumbersโ€ฆ
