Fungi, Plants, and Animals all evolved from Protista. Plants multiple times, I believe. And there are hybrids among Protista, such as Euglena, the singled-celled Photomixotroph (arguably one of the closest things to a Plantanimal, though technically not one, since a proper Plantanimal would (by definition of Plants and Animals both being multicellular, as opposed to singled-celled Protista) have to be multicellular.

Isnโt the leaf sheep closer to being a planimal?
I was not aware of that animal. You might be right, though, they โindirectlyโ photosynthesize through their relationship with algae and Euglena directly photosynthesize, so . . . not sure.
Due to the inablilty to classify organisms like Eugena prompted Ernest Haeckel, a German Biologist and Philospher who coined many of the important terms to be used in Biology like Ecology, Phylogeny, Ontogeny, e.t.c, to create Protista.

I recall they do transport chloroplasts into their cells that thatโs at least better than corals or lichens.
The Entner-Duodoroff pathway is another way for organisms to use Glucose, especially those organisms who lack essential Glycolytic enzymes like Phopshofructokinase (PFK), with the ED pathway producing 1 less ATP molecule than Glycolysis (EMP-Pathway). Since this pathway uses less protein molecules, it is favored in many Gram-Positive bacteria, some Gram-Negative bacteria, some Archaea, and is even found in a few Eukaryotes.

Would that mean alternative metabolisms in the game?
Spicomellus is the spiniest Ankylosaur found to date, and the oldest known Ankylosaur possibly with a club tail. It also looks like Anguirus, a Kaiju inspired by Ankylosaurs.
