Can anyone summarize that with 50 words? Iโm not about to watch a clickbait video with a clickbait thumbnail.
Minecraft account blackmarket is strong, and some people have even went to extreme lenghts to steal special accounts because of capes.
So that isnโt even related to any specific incident? Okay then it is extreme clickbait. All popular services have accounts targeted with attacks.
well mojang belgiumed up
https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/usage-guidelines
people are saying theyโve turned into 1984
Iโm not familiar with the usage guidelines, what exactly did they change and mess up? I tried to skim through it but didnโt see anything glaringly wrong, though I probably just missed it
Yeah I read through the new guidelines and it seems to be alrightโฆ there some iffy stuff that I personally would dispute but nothing outrageously bad
It basically donโt tarnish our brand by making it look official and donโt try to make the game pay to win.
I for one welcome our new Swedish overlords.
They are owned by Microsoft (USA) in turnโฆ so whatever major decision (or whenever Microsoft wants to meddle) they make need to be approved by their corporate overlords.
Looks like the mob vote is gone for good
I play Java, but never on windows, exclusively on Linux. An OS some people consider a kind of Linux is android. I, in fact, play Java on Android (and regular Linux, Java isnโt exactly snappy on my non-thousand-dollar phone.) last time I played bedrock was on my Nintendo Wii U, at least I think thatโs bedrock based.
Edit: this is in response to the original thread post if it isnโt clear.
Edit also: yay!! The mob vote literally never worked, I only ever voted like twice so maybe I shouldnโt complain, but I think they just didnโt do it well also.
I donโt see why they canโt just add all of the vote content all at once in the next update. None of it is anything too fundamentally extraordinary for Minecraft like the mountain and caves update was. Modders could and have done all of their changes and updates in a twentieth of the time it takes for them to get around to releasing anything.
There are apparently some legal things which Mojang must check before releasing each feature.
Really? What specifically?
No idea, probably things needed to keep the game at itโs current age rating.
mob vote mobs arenโt fully fleshed out when we get introduced to them
they were only simple concepts and ideas that the dev team showed off to the community for them to vote on which ones they liked the most
the whole idea of the mob vote was to let the community have direct influence on minecrafts development
if there was no mob vote, none of them wouldโve even been added
Also thereโs a rather high chance that Mojang will reintroduce the biome vote in place of the mob vote.
