How is the order of the next cell choosen?

So, I am making organisim “x”, which is a 1 cell, surrounded by others in a ring. How is the order of the next cell to make choosen?

the order of the next cell to show himself is based on the order u place in the editor.

right now there no manipulation of what will show first (even if it can be beneficial and a bit realistic)
idk if it plan something like that, but the idea have been show up more then ones.

okay. so, right now, I would want to put more energy productive ones first, and then if there is a net-positive, at the end I can put ones that have a net negative!

Should be put in the reproduction tab. My idea is: - [ ] when that tab is e…nabled there would be numbers above all the cell hexes showing the growing order - [ ] and there would be a list in that tab for the cells that will be added it would be something like "1. Stem at 0,0 2. Some other cell type at 0,1" etc. And the list would have buttons or drag and drop support for reordering - [ ] and finally there would be a right click context menu to swap any cell and the first cell in a colony, that way the initial cell type to play as can also be swapped. This isn't really critical but would make it more obvious the colony is built around the cell in division order with number 1 - [ ] changing the order should not allow the colony to have holes in it while growing. So each cell starting from number 1 needs to be connected to a previous number so a line line 1-3-2 should be disallowed. Probably should have a button to fix this automatically as it might be annoying to manually fix. Similar to: https://github.com/Revolutionary-Games/Thrive/issues/1622

way to control the order of organelles splitting in order to not die. Basically …some kind of thing that lets you reorder the organelles in the player species, splitting should happen in the order the organelle list in the species defines

So it might take a while to get that done unless some really inspired programmer comes along who wants to work on that first.

Absolute do not do that. If you try you’ll get shown that there’s just a bug report template only. Only team members are allowed to put new features there. Everyone else is only allowed to report bugs there. And even that isn’t always preferable because 95% of the time people report bugs that are already known.
