I made it to the main menu so far

Whenever I start a new game, it always seems like it’s struggling to load it and I suspect it has something to do with the cut scene. If only the options menu is available, I would have been able to lower or disable some settings. I’m not sure if this is because my laptop is a potato, but here’s the some log I copied from the launcher (let me know if I need something else):

Currently the game creates a lot of species when creating a new game. That locks up the game for some time.

I think that is what you are experiencing.

Actually it exits my window whenever it freezes up. I also forgot to mention this error:

Maybe I can play next time with a better PC?
