And We have 100 mp, right?

No, we only choose the mutant we want our lineages to switch to.

@aah31415 is correct. You only choose mutant for your lineage. However, you can also choose its theme song, and give me - the GM - some directions on where you want your organism to go in the same patch when I simulate it.

Also, I am still waiting on everyone to choose their respective mutant and the names for their chosen organisms. This would include @aah31415, @CatSquared, and @doomlightning. Also, @Cha, what would you like to name your organism?

I will choose the “Base species mutant”.

The name will be “Thrivium Diuturnus” from now on.

Normal name: Small cell

Scientific name. Thrivium Fostrogon

Pretty sure scientific names need 2 parts to them, a genus and a species part…

I’ll go for the option to create spores to survive better
(If we go by the rules of Thrive, I’ll go for hydrogenation instead, to increase energy reserves)

I think he called it Garlabi Tao

I hope I did this right.

You can only select the mutants provided (or the base species).

I’m choosing the base species. I’ll name it “Thrivum Pabulator”, or “Forager”.

There will be a lot of Thriviums for a while…

And with organisms looking exactly like one another, I would not be surprised if this happened when AI organisms, or other players, meet…

Also, @doomlightning, you need to choose either the Base Species or Mutant 4 from here.
For the AI, I will choose the original Terminator Theme as its theme song.

By the way, how many AI species are alive now?

There is only currently one, the base species named Primum thrivium. That might change depending on how generation and selection goes.

Since you are here, do you have preference for which direction you want your species to go in the Levaunian Tidepool when I simulate it (North, South, e.t.c.)?

Do we even know where it is? Like, north or south hemisphere even?

Here is the map.

Since Planet Generation has not been released in the game yet, I am just going with the assumption of dividing the map in half. The top half will be the Norther Hemisphere, and the bottom half will be the Southern Hemisphere. I think the Levaunian Tidepool is close to the equator…

Right, I don’t think I’m interested in moving my species, yet atleast.

I think all have choosen their mutants now?

Yes, that is great! There is something I want to add.

I am about to eat my own words…
Player “scenarios” have begun, basically when two or more players meet. I randomly determined whether or not player will meet other players, the number of players, and who will interact with who. This is the result:

  1. @JustaDumbThriver, during your organism’s turn, you will meet @aah31415’s and @Cha’s organisms.
  2. @aah31415 will not meet any players during his turn.
  3. @CatSquared will meet @Cha’s and @JustaDumbThriver’s organisms.
  4. @Cha will not will meet any other player during his turn.
  5. @doomlightning will meet the AI’s and @aah31415’s organisms.
  6. AI will not interact with other players during its turn.

This is not important now, since no organism has split off to become another species, or has evolved Cannibalism. However, these potential interactions might be important in the future.

Does anyone want me to simulate the player interactions differently that what is in their behavior tab? Like if one player is near a cloud of toxins, the other player can try and push them into it?

How will exotic organelle situations be handled?

in-game it’s known as “environmental hazard”, it just happens to use the same model as oxytoxy projectile
