How much space does it take?

The EB rom takes up like 4 megabytes because of how limited the SNES cartridges were… And M1 is around 512kb! M3 is 16mb.

Old games tend to be light like that, and yet still fully functional…

Yeah, it’s insane they could put something like that in a SNES and GBA cart, let alone an NES cart…

hey, i’ve played Mother 2 and 3!
the most notable lines of dialogue imo are the ones at the end of Mother 3, but i don’t wanna spoil you even more so I’ll keep quiet about that for now…

i also got introduced to the Mother series because of Undertale, but I’m still quite a big fan of it (deltarune tomorrow )

I regularly talk to Tazmilly civilians every time their dialogue change, and some NPCs really don’t seem to like Lucas very much… some notable ones being:
(these are all directed to Lucas)

“W-w-what?! What?! What’re you trying to scare me for?! Get out of here! Leave! Leave this village!”
“You’re back, are you? Do you need my help for something? That’s too bad, because I have no intention of helping you one bit. Why? Because I think you’re a… No, no. I’d best not say it. Bye-bye!”
“First there’s a fire, then lightning, and now earthquakes?! Why does this have to happen to us? Actually, when I think about it, I somehow get the feeling this is all your fault. Please stay away from us, if you’d be so kind!”
“You don’t seem to take hints very well, so I’ll just come out and say it. My family hates you. Why do you keep coming here? Yet, even after I’ve said this, I just know you’ll keep coming back.”
“I hate to ask this, Lucas… But could you, uhh, not come here anymore? Whenever you visit, our reputation gets worse…”
“Hate me. Hate me more. It would be easier for me knowing that you hate me. Ohohoho!”
