Language, cooperation, communities, crafting, and culture emerge.
(NSS) are we out of the water yet? and how is the condidtion of the planet?
(NSS) Yes, these humans’ ancestors crawled out of the water ~435 million years ago.
And the planet fit as a fiddle, but about to be detuned ifywim
Tribes settle towns, towns develop markets, markets initiate exchange of goods and knowledge, trade grows towns into cities.
(NSS) Cue the Industrial Stage
Suddenly, a suspicious unknown race (from the “sky”) comes and genetically modifies these things into a whole bunch of bricks.
(NSS) Really? Shoving in the Qu this early?
At least, the outsiders tried to, but one of their operators spilled their drink on the controls, which they had forgotten to make liquid-proof in their haste to end evolution on this planet, and all their ships crash into the continents, humanity no worse for wear.
Both intrigued and traumatized by their invaders’ plans, mankind decided to take the first steps to defend themselves should reinforcements come, and focused their efforts on progress.
With the invention of the engine, cities expand, buildings grow higher, people work harder, food is made better, goods travel faster, weapons become stronger.
ahem until the mysterious species comes back, and decimates the “human things.”
(NSS) it was only a matter of time…
Gonna pretend that didnt happen
And yet, for all their success, their planet could not hold enough resources to sustain their curiousity.
So they pointed their eyes to the stars.
This lead to them going to another planet to get more resources.
Granted, it was frustrating to get the world to pool its resources and throw aside old rivalries for the sake of the greater good.
Their first target was their neighboring planet Nehicarro, a bit smaller than Earth, but plentiful in resources and an easy candidate for terraforming.
(NSS) FYI, these alternate humans also call their home planet Earth. Everything else is standardly alien.
Unwittingly, they discovered a monolith that not only provides clues to their origins and life from other planets, but delineated their ability to extend their reach beyond the star system and into the galaxy.
(NSS) Comeone, some one else has to comment
NSS you made back to back posts like three times.
Mark was lying on the floor, he looked up at the monolith and it saided to him “hello mark, you are zombie now.”
and then mark was a zombie
Because mark was practically more than brain-dead, he ignored the monolith and wandered off.
and Jack was all like what
Suddenly a nuclear explosion happens
zombie mark absorbs all of the nuclear radiation and is cured of zombie
But Mark absorbed too much radiation
