Pandora Horizon (Survivle Civis Forum Game)

Every round you vote to do something, and every vote the GM roles a die. The bonuses are added to the dice roll when it’s applicable (I e an attack bonus is only added to votes to attack). The higher the better.

That’s not how it works anymore

Oh yeah it’s some weighed probablite thing or something feel free to explain I’m lazy
Edit: that is cute aww- I love cats. Cats also have a success rate when hunting higher than almost any Apex predator, with some of the only things beating them being black footed cats. Look them up sometime.

If I join, which is looking likely, it won’t be until the sky fall event, but would anyone be down for some kind of alliance/trade deal? I don’t know exactly what I will have access to yet, but I’m sure we could figure something out.

I will not, however, currently say what ‘splinter’ group I may be if I join. Not yet at least.

Basically there are a bunch of civilizations all living on the same world, trying to become super powerful. Some are at open war, some not quite but still enemies, some neutral. There are various gods for different factions (pretty much whatever you want) and different levels of magic. Doom is the main guy organizing this thing, and while he has one potential spot that I know of I would be filling it, though he may have other spots open if you talk to him about it.

Each civilization is preparing in their own way for the returning of one known only as ‘He’, super powerful legitimately super evil dude who kinda caused the formation of Pandora’s Horizon.

I mentioned legitimately evil because there is a group known as the Dark Horizon who are only evil to make things interesting and let other people be the ‘good guys’.

Basically, look at the details on the last round for information, and messaging doomlightning would definitely be helpful, as he can tell you if you can join or must be put on a waiting list.

The game Pandora Horizon its a survival Civics forum game that u build a civics in a world that come to its end.

the palyer here are create race and civics (in the start, now it to branch from otehr civics) and try to survivle untill the end.

how u do it? its depance on u, what u do and what u get.

bascely, they are no evil or good, only survivle in dengeras world.

u can see in the first comman of the pace to see more and maybe read in evert round whats happen.
if u have any Q u can ask me

I meant the history of what is going on with the players, who befriended who, has anyone joined, what civs are there? does anyone have a history of that?

Dm me, I can give you a lot of that, I’ve had to learn it in the past few days as well

Ok so, basically zenzone originally had 2 allies: deathwake e nigel, but then nigel betrayed him and now he is just allied with deathwake. I as of now have 2 allies (sorry, but I won’t say who). As of game’s lore (if you are interestend), there is “he” that is the one that created the white prophecy and that is now killing the gods, and when all the gods will be dead he will descend unto earth (when the counting to the end reaches 0).

If I were to join I think this would be my load-out.

Advantage:
Better Eyes (can see more colors and have great night vision)
Retractable claws

Disadvantage:
Think everyone thinks like them.

Description:
They look like Kajit from skyrim

civilization profile:

Name of civilization: Researchers

Location / biome: a forest with a river running through surrounded by a mountain range.

Initial quantity:50

Description: Very historically accurate, people train their whole lives to be unbiased historians, choose the next possible leader at birth and train them in the ways of science and problem solving. Leader is elected from several candidates trained from birth as mentioned before. When it comes to matters like (but not necessarily) if the cov should go to war or if a new law should be implemented, each person has 1 vote wich can be yes or no, the votes will then be counted and the winner is that whitch has a 2/3 majority. (and yes I have an entire political system worked out)

Mabey I should describe the political system separately.

Just make a details section (kinda like spoilers) for that.

Before your system, type [details=(whatever you want people to see before they open it)]

See?

Boo!

Then at the end write [/details] to stop it from continuing whatever you write in that details.

this sounds overwhealmingly similar to my mantis race and starting point

im fine with that

This is basically everything you need to know about how this society works (more may be added)

Kajit political system
Important decisions

To make an important decision that effects the whole community they will hold a vote. The vote that gets the 2/3 majority wins the vote. If the voters cannot come to a consensus, the counsel will decide which decision will be better for the people (after being informed of the decision).

The choosing and training of council members

Each child is tested at he age of 2, they are given a series of objects and, depending on how they interact with those objects, they will or won’t be chosen to be a candidate for the council in case a member dies.
After they are chosen, each one is trained in the ways of logic, and problem solving. Before they become one of the 9 council members, they will be instructed to experiment and record the outcome of experiments after making a statement with the propose to prove it wrong.

The training of historians

Historians are not chosen but choose themselves to become them. They are trained to be unbiased and look at things not as they felt it happened, but as they truly happened. They are shamed if they try to depict someones intention because they have no idea what could be going in in their head. Villainizing and victimizing are also shamed upon in the historians circle, and could get you demoted. Everything that happens is carefully recorded and protected by historians so no information is lost to the ages.

Classes within society

Warrior
Hunter/Gatherer
Craftsman/builder(usually 3 or 4)
Historian
Councilmen(There can only be 9)
Doctor
(Each has an apprentice form to)

I will probably be entering with or after the skyfall event.

Traditions
  • They use their dead to the fullest, as it would be a dishonor to put it to waste. Grinding the bones for fertilizer or using them as tools. Their fur will be tanned and used as coats for winter. Their meat for bait or fertilizer. ect… It is considered shameful to put a body to waste, because everyone in their community wishes to be as helpful as possible, even in death.

I’ll probably join at skyfall. Sorry for the redundancy.
