I actually settled on a different PC setup than originally planned.

And was the light theme a deviation from the original idea?

Yeah, it was. I wanted to go for all dark, but changed it to light last second.

What made you change your mind?

I went to microcenter to see if my list was good, but he said I should use the following specs:
Ryzen 5 7600x
RTX 2060
16gb RAM
1tb storage
As you can see, it’s a downgrade from my original system for the same price range. Never trusting Microcenter again… I upgraded my RAM though.

32gb. There was just 1 16gb stick, and you don’t want to mix RAM sticks.

Did you ask them at the microcenter about the server specs or no? Would be interesting to see what they’d suggest.

By the way, what exactly is a “microcenter”?

Basically it’s a store where you buy electronic stuff. I guess it’s just an America thing
