Do I not have speed 3 already due to +4 movement? Or is speed a separate stat from movement? Because I should be in the river biome already if it is former.
You can see that next to the movement stat there are special-type speeds, like mud-walking speed or water speed. That’s what’s probably required for surviving the rivers.
M1: Better alternating and synchronized movement of limbs in water for more efficient and better swimming.

I think those mutations should put me in rivers.

the wax layer was to hold in water better when on land, so shouldn’t it be drought resistance, not swimming?
